I have spent my birthday and Christmas gift cards this evening, so I have some new clothes on their way over the next few days... it's not spending as it's not cost me anything so I'm happy. Plus, it will give me something to wear when I start going out again!
Thanks for all your support today guys, as always you're very wise! Rest assured, I've had a little word with myself

Delurking to say you are doing really well so cut yourself some slack and enjoy yourself, life’s too short. You can still pay off debt and have a life.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Up very early this morning and for the moment I’m not feeling drained like I have for the last 2 weeks. I already have a load of washing almost done to go on the line and I’ve emptied the dishwasher from last nights dinner.I was overthinking last night (I know… so not like me
) and even though I’ll be stepping down the overpayments, I still think the habits I’ve formed over the last 2 years will mean I think twice about what I spend money on.
So, today’s PAD was £1.01 to CC7 and a NSD is on the cards. I’m only going out to walk the dog and whilst we sometimes find discarded coins on our walks (which I add to the SPC) we never spend money. Dinner tonight is in the fridge and needs using today so there’ll be no last minute dinner changes.
Last day at work for a week beckons, hopefully it won’t be too busy! Thanks again for all your support

Enjoy your lovely new clothes! That’s an interesting point @BadBookkeeper, we must all spend such a lot on gifts for other people. I have also toned this down (eg no longer buy for friends children now they are almost grown up…I’ve never seen them, but at £20 a go it was costing an extra £120 a year with Christmas and birthdays just for 3 of them 😮).Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Well, the parcel didn't spark much joy as only 1 of the 4 items fit comfortably so I need to arrange a return/exchange. Another parcel due today though so all is not lost
A friend has invited me for lunch today and as I need to pop to the supermarket I will pick her up a small bunch of flowers as a thank you.
PAD made £1.01 bank round down to CC7 and the budget has been updated. I have a busy day of washing, ironing and housework so lunch out will be a nice bit of downtime.
I've had my renewal for my car insurance at £230 so I will definitely be switching, unless they can match the £181 that I managed to get it down to using all comparison sites. I will try calling them later if I remember, as I don't want it to just auto-renew on my debit card.
Hope everyone has a great Friday
