  • The dreaded covid has arrived at the House of LMD... we have done well to avoid it over the last 2 years but I'm still gutted we have managed to get it. May not be as regular with my updates over the coming days but I will still try to keep PADding and it will mean we have a run of NSDs as we can't go anywhere.

I know the rules have changed regarding isolating but we are of the mind that it's been lifted too early and we will do all we can to make sure we don't spread it if we can help it.

Made my PAD this morning, £3 to CC7.  I'm off back to bed now - take care everyone and stay safe!

  • Thanks guys, really appreciate the well wishes.

Just a quick post from me today, PAD made to CC7 of just £2 bank round down and today is NSD #3 for April.

  • Quick update from me as we are still poorly.

NSD number 4 for April today, PAD made to CC7 £460 as the statement had been generated, this takes me well under the £8k mark and I'm thrilled :)

Clearly covid will be helping us save this week as we can't go out and fortunately we have enough food in to last out this week, might need to look at a grocery delivery or click and collect at the weekend if we are still unwell.

Thanks, we are just feeling completely wiped out and want to sleep all the time.

We were the same. The tiredness lingered on for a couple of weeks after we started testing negative again.
  • Popping in with an update whilst I am still awake, quite glad I can't go out today as the weather is utterly miserable and really windy. It's bin day today and I wonder how many will survive the wind?

Today's PAD was a little £1.51 bank round down to CC7, and a NSD is on the cards again. This will be number 5 for April, although I imagine when we are well again we won't want to stay in the house :D

I had planned lots of nice meals this week, lots of batch and from scratch cooking. Something I definitely regretted last night whilst standing at the kitchen worktop chopping meat and veg! But the alternative is take out and then it won't be a NSD haha, maybe we will order a curry on Friday night if we are still unwell.  At least the batch cooking stocks the freezer.

Hope everyone has a great day

Hope you get over the covid lurgy soon LMD.

Weather has been crazy here too - we had hailstones, glorious sunshine plus thunder and lightning in the space of half an hour this afternoon.

At least covid is helping with the NSD count! #smallmercies
