Lunch time check in from me, having had some leftovers for lunch from last night's dinner. Today is another NSD and a friend is popping over for coffee after work today which will be nice.
Double PAD this morning, one to CC7 and a bank tidy to the sealed pot. Will be posting a finance update on Friday which also happens to be pay day. (whoop!)
Nothing else to report, I still want to get CC7 down by £9 to creep below the next £100 barrier and I'm certain I'll do that over the next few days.
I've stopped worrying about energy bills for the moment, as there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. I'll just sit out my fixed term and move to variable and when I do that I will be watching consumption like a hawk!
Hope everyone is having a good day? My Monday is whizzing by, but it's quite busy with work at the moment.

Today will be another NSD, just working from home and no plans to venture out except to walk the dog.
I had a lovely catch up and natter last night, and tonight will be relaxing with a film as I am off tomorrow and going out for the day. Tomorrow is definitely going to be spendy but I have enough to cover it and see me through to pay day on Friday.
PADs counted this morning and I have sent £7.21 to CC7 for my PAD, so very close to getting to breaking the next hundred mark. To be honest the statement isn't generated until 5/6th of the month so I can't make a big payment on that just yet anyway, so I will just keep chipping away.
Hope you all have a good day

Good morning
I'm off work today as it's my birthday and I have made plans to meet friends for lunch as hubby is working. No chance of a lie-in with this dog haha!
Made my PAD to CC7 this morning and it took it below the £8.3 mark, we will see how far we can get with the PADding before the statement is generated. My Debt Free by Xmas 22 is going well though and I am at 68% to target already, feeling very positive about this to be honest.
Today will not be a NSD, but that was to be expected and planned in for this week. It's definitely a day for treating myself... Although I have had an email from Costa offering me a free slice of cake this week so I will probably take advantage of that at some point - when it comes to free cake, what's not to like?
Still looking forward to pay day on Friday!

Morning everyone and thank you for the birthday wishes. I had a lovely day, the only thing that was missing was a nap
needed even more so now that I'm getting older...
PADs counted up and mine was a nice £10 to CC7 as it's pay day tomorrow. That only leaves £10 in the bills account but nothing is due out and today will be a NSD. I do have an overdraft agreed on my account but I've never used it, it's too expensive these days anyway.
Looks like it's going to be a nice day so laundry will be on the line today, little wins
I'm glad it's been sunny for my birthday this year, I have had quite a few with deep snow! I'm feeling very positive so far today but I've yet to see how many emails/demands/requests came in yesterday whilst I was off work... Ah well, only 2 days to the weekend!
Have a wonderful day everyone

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! It's forecast to be another lovely sunny day here in Yorkshire and I'm feeling positive. Reasons to be cheerful today, it's pay day
and we are out for my birthday meal tonight with friends.
It's F-f-f-Friday so here's my finance update...CC7 £8282.27Total credit available £67700 12% utilisedCash £25Bills account £2585Spends account £475Car account £3256.63/£10kSealed pot challenge £1404.59DFBXmas challenge £5449.59/£8000 68% to targetEF £142.42Gift cards £310Debt free day 26 May 2023 - 426 days to go at £19.44 per day
The amount per day will fluctuate as I make smaller and then more chunky payments throughout the month. You will see I have a lot on gift cards, some of these were birthday gifts and I have a couple left over from Christmas... I also have a re-loadable gift card for the major coffee places as I get a discount buying them through work and they come in handy at the end of the month when you fancy a nice coffee but the funds are low.
No changes this week to the credit scores, all in a good place. I contemplated adding the mortgage but that's really scary and the daily interest is quite a bit haha. I don't really see that as 'debt' though as we have a lot of equity in the house already and I was always brought up with the notion that a mortgage is 'good debt' if there is such a thing?
As we are out tonight it's not going to be a NSD, nor tomorrow as I need to do the grocery shopping. No plans for next week though so should get a good few NSDs in there. I will definitely start counting them as of April.
Have a fab Friday guys
