  • Insurance sorted... they couldn't match it so I've used the EF to pay for it and will return it on pay day.  One job off my to do list though!

Well done. No point in paying more for the same thing. Glad you’re feeling better by the way.

  • Frustrated today... bad traffic meant that I abandoned the Tesco shop altogether, would rather eat out of the freezer than deal with overcrowding. I still had a nice lunch with my friend though.  My parcel was due before 4:30 according to the courier and by 6pm according to the retailer... it's still not here.

I called the retailer to complain and they are sending me a £10 gift voucher as an apology and have guaranteed it will come tomorrow. Had I not been efficient and sorted my insurance it would have been a NSD hahaha. Oh well, that's how the cookies crumble.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more normal

  • Up early again today, already done the budget and made a bank round down PAD to CC7. I have no plans to go anywhere today except to walk the dog so it will be a NSD. Freezer is being used for meals until Monday so no need to try and tackle the supermarket.

Hoping my parcel comes this morning so that if anything needs returning I can get that sorted out ready for Tuesday.

House insurance quotes done this morning £106 for the year which seems in line with what I paid last year... my renewal should be generated in the next few days so we will see what they send me.

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday, it looks like it's going to be good weather again!

    Morning all (just about!)

Well, my parcel arrived nice and early which was a good thing, but 2 of the 4 items had to be returned, 1 too big and 1 too small… so I popped those back to the store mid morning.

I made a £1.71 PAD payment to CC7 this morning and I have 2 loads of laundry blowing on the line.

It’s such a lovely day, I’ve got all the windows open to freshen the house and I feel super positive today :)

  • Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

Up late today and can't seem to come around, it's a good job I've no plans.  It's probably all the early mornings I have had and maybe a little bit of lasting virus. I've been quite busy round the house over the past few days getting chores and laundry done and I may have over done it a little.

PAD sent to CC7 £1.51 and I've updated my budget.  Today is NSD number 12 for April as hubby is at work and I only need to go out to walk the dog - no shops are open today anyway.  No change to the credit scores; all in an excellent position.

No more parcels due :D just refunds from the returned items lol.

  • Hi all.

I’m afraid it’s not a NSD for me today, we have popped out for breakfast and I have sorted this years home insurance and cancelled the renewal.

I sent £1 to CC7 this morning and still need to update my signature so that’s my next job. I still have a couple of days off work so we are avoiding the busy roads today and will be venturing out over the next day or so instead.

I also need to get some groceries today but will go later this afternoon when the rush is over :)

    Have a lovely Monday

I hope you are having a great weekend - we too have been avoiding going out in the car - too many visitors to Dorset over the weekend!

  • Not a popular place here but still lots of local traffic, and the amount of panic shopping for 1 day of closure is beyond idiotic.

    Safer in the house :D

  • Stupidly early again, and I’m not back at work until Thursday :(

PADs made, standing order to SPC, a bill and £1.14 to CC7- today will not be a NSD as we are out for dinner tonight.

Nothing else to report, pay day is still over a week away. This feels like it’s been a really long month.
