I agree, treat yourself! Not often HMRC do rebates without chasing!

Thanks everyone, I have decided I will use it to treat myself as this will mean I will be less likely to use the CC7 overpayment pot for any personal spending - win-win... although it's got to arrive first, and then the cheque needs to clear.
Today should be another NSD, I have to wait in for the delayed/lost delivery which is now due this afternoon. Not 100% certain though so I will report that later. PAD's made this morning, £2 to CC7 and £1.02 to the sealed pot. everything is nicely rounded.
Tomorrow will be a spendy day as I have a hair appointment in the morning and then we are going out in the afternoon for a few drinks and a meal.... and then it will be May! No change to the credit scores this month which is good.
Hope everyone has a happy Fri-yay

Hi all. It’s a spendy day for me with hairdressers this morning and grocery shopping afterwards. I have also treated my little car to a wash… I think the last time was November
so she definitely deserved one! She’s very sparkly now
PADs made this morning, £1 to CC7 and 52p to the sealed pot.Off out for food and drinks later. So more spending there, but that should be it for the weekend
Hope you’re all doing well!LMD xLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017Sealed pot 2025 £6573 | EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3364/£6000 | Travel savings £1508 | Sinking pots £25711 -
Hello, a late update from me today as it's been a busy one. I did pop on earlier this morning to PAD as the mortgage has come out and I also sent £1 to CC7
It was an NSD for me today, we went to investigate a local farm shop and ended up having a wonderful breakfast/brunch and then picking up some stuff in the shop itself. Hubby paid though
Had a wonderful Sunday roast earlier and I'm still stuffed, we will just be chilling for the rest of the evening now though. We did some more tidying in the garden earlier so that's looking much better, we are just chipping away at it. It's not awful, just not quite how we want it yet.
Have a good evening, see you in the morning x

Up early today and got a head start on some housework, bit early for vacuuming though so I will have to do that later.
PAD's made, £15 DD, £2 to CC7 and £1.61 to the sealed pot. Budget tracker is all updated from my spendy Saturday and I think there will need to be a few NSD's this week and next! It's nice to let your hair down once in a while though
I keep getting 0% offers from my zero balanced cards, so I can only assume that my credit worthiness is much better than a few years ago when I was struggling to transfer anything. I can't tell you how much more in control I feel these days, it's unbelievable.
No plans for spending today, so it should be a NSD but I'm not declaring too early as I have the whole day ahead of me and plans may change. DH is at work so I'm using the slow cooker today for a steak pie filling
Hope everyone has a good day

Happy first weekday of the month... my accounts are sobbing from all the money that's been taken
The good thing about today is that it's NOT a Monday (whoop)
PADs made today, bills and then £2 sent to CC7 to round it nicely down. The statement should be generated in a few days and then I will make the regular payment. Overpayment is still being held in a Monzo pot.
I have a very quiet week ahead, hubby is working and I have a lot of work to do. No plans until Friday when I have friends over and we are getting a takeout and catching up. It seems like a good opportunity to get ahead of the NSDs to me. Today will be #3 for May already. I joined the NSD challenge and the rules are that you can exclude bills, fuel and grocery spends so I may get even more than I had originally thought.
I hope everyone had a good weekend and is keeping safe and well.
