Stupidly early again, and I’m not back at work until Thursday :(

PADs made, standing order to SPC, a bill and £1.14 to CC7- today will not be a NSD as we are out for dinner tonight.

Nothing else to report, pay day is still over a week away. This feels like it’s been a really long month.

    LMD x

Glad it's not just me, April has definitely been a long month. Enjoy & keep it up. :)

  • Morning everyone

Today will be NSD #13 for April and I’ve sent £2.50 to CC7 for my PAD.

My last day off today, but that means only a 2 day week so I can certainty cope with that! Yesterday was quite spendy as predicted, and I bought myself a nice piece of handmade jewellery- and I didn’t feel guilty :)

Today will be a restful day before going back to work, I daren’t look how many emails have mounted up…

I hope you all have a lovely sunny day

April is definitely a long month in our house. We got the dog in April 2018, we bought our house in April 2019 and we bought our motorhome in April 2021, so all of the bills come at once. Pet Insurance, Pet Health Care Plan, home insurance, motorhome insurance, MOT, service, insurance and road tax.

Will be glad when next Friday and pay day comes around!!

Cripes! That’s a rough month… although at least you get it all sorted and out of the way at once x

  • Well, back to work for me today, and the weather is so glorious I can't help but be cheery :)  Going to pop the washing on the line in a minute as I'm sure it will dry well today. I've had a very productive time off and we have sorted out the garden ready for the summer.

PAD's made today, £3.01 to CC7 and £10 to the sealed pot. Today will be NSD #14 for April so far. With 6 days still to go before pay day I will need some more to be honest!

I've checked the credit scores this morning and there's still no change so that's good.  I am going to stay with family at the weekend, but it will be a quiet weekend and meals in so it shouldn't be too spendy, if any spending gets done at all. This visit is about catching up and spending quality time together rather than going out and spending money.

New pay rate should kick in this month (2% increase) but also the new NI rate takes effect so I have no clue what's going to happen to my actual pay. I tried using Martin's calculator but I have a car allowance so my tax isn't simple. I will just have to be patient and see what comes on my pay slip on Tuesday. I'm just hoping it's more and not less than I get now :D

Have a lovely sunny Thursday peeps

Good morning all and happy Friday :)

Here we are with a Friday finance update (my PADs for today have been made)
    Cash  £30.50
    Car account £3706.63/£10000
Bills account £17 (no more bills to be paid before pay day on Weds)
    Spends account £98.75
Emergency fund £5.28 (I used this for insurances so will be replenished once I get paid)
    Sealed pot challenge £1588.05
Debt free by xmas challenge £6418.18/£8000 (80.2% to target)
    Gift cards £210
    CC7 £7761.92 (0%)
    Available credit £67,600
    11.5% credit utilisation

The accounts are looking very sorry for themselves now and we are very much looking forward to getting paid on Wednesday. Today will be NSD 15 for April as I am only travelling to family after work so nothing will be spent today, low spends for the rest of the weekend, if any.

This morning's PADs have been made £1.14 to CC7 and £1.76 to the sealed pot. Think that's about it from me today. I am hoping that the weather brightens up a bit, after the glorious day yesterday it's looking a bit grim out there...

Hope you have a good day

Well, I'm really enjoying catching up with family, still managed to PAD £2 to CC7 this morning. Today isn't a NSD though as we popped out to the shop to get a few bits this morning, it's a low spend day though.

The weather is lovely again today so a long dog walk is on the cards for this afternoon before a lovely steak dinner (at home) tonight with a few drinks. It's quite nice not being at home and having to do housework :D

    Have a great Saturday

  • Happy sunny Sunday all, hope you’re having a nice weekend.
Heading home later today, but today will be my 16th NSD for April as I have some snacks for the car journey.
PADs made this morning £5 to CC7 and £3.60 sent to the sealed pot. Still looking forward to pay day, 3 days to go….
