I do not believe for one moment that the BPA visits every parking site in the UK to audit signage.
I think the lady you spoke to has been, how shall I put this, mis-informed.
The BPA probably couldn't find half of them either since they may be bad at geography and finding places.

    Evening guys,

Got a reply from HM Courts and Tribunals Service after the complaint. This is what they said:

Thank you for your recent complaint received on 10 August 2021.

I am part of the Customer Service Team and I am writing in response to your complaint.

I understand that you are unhappy about having a judgment issued, even though you filed a defence which has not been processed

I have had a look into your case, and I can confirm that an error was made on our part.

We received your Acknowledgement of Service and this was processed on 27 April 2021

Judgment was entered on 29 July 2021 as no response was filed.

We received a telephone call from you on 9 August 2021 advising us that you sent in your defence and you have not received any Directions Questionnaire.

I can see that you have provided us with a copy of your defence and evidence that this was sent to us via email prior to judgment being entered.

    Next Steps
Please be advised that the above case has been referred to a District Judge or court appointed Legal Advisor for directions on how to proceed. It can take 6 weeks to receive a response at which point you will be notified accordingly.

If you're unhappy with my response

If you're unhappy with the way I've handled your complaint, you can ask our Operations Manager, Angela Hirst to review it. Just write to her at this email address with details of why you're not happy

Angela will get back to you within 10 working days

They have clearly admitted to being at fault which is fine but they're just going to take ages now.

.In my opinion you should be seeking compensation from the. Court Service. .

I have complained three times to TCS . when they have made errors, and have twice been compensated.  Copy any letter to your MP.

    .

I know of two people whose emails were ignored by the CCBC and when they complained, they were told 'tough' (not that word, but you get my drift) 'you should have known to look out for an acknowledgement email'.

Both sent their defences to the right email address.  Both have complained further.  The CCBC really are dropping the ball this year.

And @Matt1111 please tell us you know about these two threads and have done both required urgent tasks?

I really hope you have done the Government Consultation by email and objected absolutely to ANY debt recovery fake 'costs' being added on top of a parking charge (of course) and told them what you think of them increasing charges to £130 instead of £100...which is already extortionate.

You have 6 days to do the consultation.  Please, please, do and do it by email so you attach evidence.  Spread the word, is closes within days, next week!

Also, I hope you've also registered for the Group Action, against the DVLA (open to anyone with a PCN since 2018?).  Gotta be in it to win it!  Nothing to lose, and it's genuine.

Read the threads about those important matters, they both need doing, right now, this week.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Will be really interested in the result as I am in exactly the same boat.  AoS filed on time (and logged in MCOL), no DQ received, defence submitted by email on time and then an out of the blue summary judgment for "Not replied to claim form", so far repeat sendings of the defence to ccbcaq have had no response either.

Can I ask if you got the above customer service team reply from an email to ccbcaq or the direct phone call or the other gov online complaints form you mentioned?
