Anyone who struggles because of a CIFAS marker should head to their local BS and open a passbook account unless they want to pay for some prepaid account!0 -
I’m so tempted to apply for the Coventry and then show you the letter when it gets closed but I don’t want any recent records with companies that I might want a mortgage from when the markers gone next year.BrownTrout said:

Thanks for all the help, I’ve currently opened a case with Cifas and financial ombudsman to check starlings report out, il try open a passbook account or a building society account while this is taking place1

I’m in the middle of it getting disputed with cifas and starling the only other option atm I can find is to try thinkmoney-heard they accept people and I’ve also opened a local credit union account which allows you top open a engage prepaid card through the credit union hopefully these work? Yes I used think money when I first had my marker they are fine to use mate and it shouldn’t get closed down0

No worries I wouldn’t stress I had the marker which was my fault and I had no issues with think money so u should be ok mate1

It was 2018 mate, as I recall they didn’t do a hard credit search as it’s pre paid card but I can’t be sure. I think it’ll be fine0
