I spoke to them and they didn't want to intervene
Of course they do not, turkeys do not vote for Christmas

I don't think you are wrong to be honest (you told me to get familiar with Primacy of Contract and Quiet Enjoyment and I think this makes sense to me in this particular case).D_P_Dance said:I think I've lost this case.
Most/all of us here think that you would win it, all we all wrong?.
Can you please explain me what do you suggest I should do from here? I'm a bit confused with suggestions:
- Small claims court doesn't look like the right path
- I don't know what "Instructing the principal" means (this was suggested by nosferatu1001)
- Shall I wait to see if Trading Standards gets back to me?
- Or do something else? Please let me know as I really want to consider it0 -
Did you ask the management company when they carried out the consultation with all residents/tenants/leaseholders and what was the result of the ballot BEFORE they appointed the fraudsters Parking Company? You must surely know if you were asked if you wanted this infestation.ritwolf said:By principal you mean the company that is managing the building (they are the ones who appointed this parking management company)? Listen to what the man says! 😉D_P_Dance said:Sorry, I respect your opinion but I disagree with this after speaking with Citizens Advice
Obviously that is not the case if you prefer the advice of the old duffers at the CAB.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Indeed. Our old duffer knows a lot more than the CAB old duffers.Umkomaas said:

I didn't know tenants have a say on this. Wouldn't it be only for the leaseholders to vote/agree?Le_Kirk said:

Possibly. But your landlord would have had to seek to revise your tenancy agreement to apply the change - if your TA doesn't require you to display a permit then there's no requirement for you to do so, and any act of doing so was merely a courtesy.
That still doesn't stop you asking the MA about the vote. (We know the answer already - there wasn't one).Jenni x3 -
I have and I still am... I've just posted the doubts I had in the same post you quoted. Knowing that I have paid... if you can please let me know the steps from here that would be helpful.D_P_Dance said:Can you please explain me what do you suggest I should do from here?

You've paid the charge? To offer advice further on how to pursue it for recovery would take resources away from people who are fighting parking firms, not succumbing to them.ritwolf said:
