DD’s car service booked in. I have the insurance reminder, just need to sort it. My car needs to be booked in for new brakes in March / April, so will put a note on the calendar now. MOT and service due in June.
DH is sorting the house insurance as I type.
Tediously boring day wfh, but the tasks needed to be done.
HHI. Dinner cooked, kitchen put to bed. Wm running again as the jumper pile was multiplying out of hand.Early start tomorrow to get to big city with DD. I have to leave her at the hospital entrance and go home, then back later to pick her up after surgery. This is going to be one of the hardest things I have done for a long time. Plus about 6 hours in the car all told.8 -
Fayolle I will be thinking of you tomorrow honey xx
Lots done today including a three hour dog/children walk; we’re all shattered! Dental appointments booked for all of us, thank you Round xx10 -

HB well done on the paperwork, it is my biggest problem, well that and deciding how to get rid of stuff we no longer want (especially with charity shops being shut). I hate landfill, give some stuff away then there is the oh I could sell it but don't. I made a great start on paperwork the other week so I can do it. Just need to stick at it. I think in Lent I will give away one item a day on the various free sites.

"Keep all invoices / bank statements / tax returns for six years from the end of the relevant tax year, i.e. in August 2021 shred all dated before 5th April 2015." HTH.
I didn't know about keeping business insurance papers for 40 years and threw out my professional indemnity insurance policies several years back. Only time will tell whether this was a mistake....
Board meeting decluttered; I actually managed to get across a couple of points that were deemed important to consider
Time for TV now with DH and (simultaneously) playtime with Rosie who knows the routine!9 -
Morning all. Thinking of you today Fayolle.
Work shift this morning then taking DH to the docs then we're going to have a belated Valentines meal. DH is making it.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning xx
No phone call received supplying follow up appointment. I'm not waiting until tomorrow to chase. I need to be knowing so that I can arrange transport and time off work to attend. I'm going to ring the opthalmolgist's secretary and ask him/ her to sort it. Naggy Nora is putting on her armour! And tutting because Round is a wuss with anxiety levels going through the roof.
I'm up, dressed, breakfasted, made my bed and sloshed bleach down the loo. I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off for a day at the paid stuff.
Hugs to all

Fayolle I will be thinking of you today xx
I was fast asleep by 8pm last night and confess I am still in bed! The same things happened at the Christmas holidays, I slept for days, my body needs to catch up it seems. I have woken with a very strange ache in my left foot, it has always been my weaker foot as I sprained it lots when I was younger. I’ll apply some ibuprofen gel.
I have deemed today a lazy day, all that needs doing is the DW and a couple of dog walks. I’ve already checked bank accounts and emails. Big hugs to you all x

Morning all,
Thank you asb and Round x Lovely to have you back asb, enjoy your lazy day.
Back home after an early start and turnaround. I need to keep busy so I have:
wm x1, clean washing sorted and shared out to rightful owners
washed and dried hair
bathrooms cleaned, even sparkled the shiny bits
I’m now contemplating what to do next, with a cuppa.8
