Thank you Valli for the new thread, and thanks to kazwookie for helping me find you all.
I have tidied everywhere, S&S'd kitchen and bathroom, watered all the plants before I'd even read the list! and sorted some more papers. The LR was dusted and hoovered on Saturday, and I'm not expecting visitors so it will do for now. I might have to clean DH's ensuite once he is properly up, washed and dressed - he's currently glued to his iPad at the kitchen table and unlikely to move for an hour or so, if he follows his normal routine.
It's a much warmer day today - already a balmy 8 degrees - so I might try to get outside for an hour to rake up the leaves off the lawn, tidy up the back yard, and make up my trestle table for the hosta pots. This evening I have a Board meeting starting at 7.00 - which I think is a silly time because it's when we would normally eat - and, having not had much sleep last night, I shall need a few zzz after I've taken Rosie for her walk, or I shall not be in a state to make logical comments on the very complex revised Constitution.
Hope everyone has a good day xx

Round 1 completed + texted DS and asked him to update HMRC with his new address after a letter arrived here for him and the Council then sent me a letter asking if I still qualified for the Lone Adult discount!!! Could be coincidence - more likely Big Brother is watching.
I also bit the bullet and chased my follow up appointment at the Eye Clinic. The ophthalmologist said follow up would be 10 to 14 days after treatment. 10 days is this Thursday and not heard a dicky bird. The person that answered the phone said: 'oh yes, you need an appointment 10 days after the treatment. I'll email somesuch person to make you an appointment - they'll probably ring you'. Somesuch has until first thing on Wednesday to ring me - and I've fired up my old phone just in case they didn't update my details as I requested. So let's hope I don't have to email the ophthalmologist and ask her to rain fire and brimstone on anyone.
And breathe....
Round 2 =
decant bird seed into container
lunch
WUDUPA a(nother) bowl of pots
check when MOT is due

I left the house.
Been to pharmacy, bakers, both German supermarkets and to return something to a DIY store.
Food cupboards all restocked and nearly put away. Love a full store cupboard
Recycled some dead batteries whilst out.
Just having some soup I made yesterday with some lovely fresh bread from the bakers.
It is finally above 0 here and the sun has just appeared so once shopping is away I'm going to have an hour in the garden. Brown bin collection on Wednesday and it cannot be put out empty in my mind as I pay for those collections!

Round 2 completed - all cutlery, pots and pans are now WUDUPA as I kept going until they were done. Plastic tub WUDU and recycled. I had cornflakes for lunch so that I could recycle the box...which was on the kitchen worktop as it was too big for the cereal shelf. Gone now - fer-ling.
MOT expires on 12th March - I will ring the garage this afternoon and book the car in for MOT and service on 1st March (if possible).
Naggy Nora Nudge: when is your car's MOT due for renewal? Make a note on your calendar a few weeks before it's due to book it in. No more last minute panics! Service due? Ditto. I combine the two when possible as it's less hassle.

Hello everyone, gosh I seem to have missed a lot. Just back home after a weekend in the other house. Drove there Friday afternoon to be there before curfew and drove back home this morning. Lunch has now been eaten and DH is wfh for the rest of the day. Lovely weekend, signed for DD2 new house on Saturday and saw the site she's working on, walk to local shops Sunday morning then another walk by the sea but it was so cold. Lazy afternoon watching rugby
Change of plan for this afternoon as got home to find the fridge freezer had stopped over the weekend and so that needs attention. Local cheese is lovely but oh the smell when the fridge has been off for a few days! Little party room fridge fired up and has what could be saved in it. I've kept the stuff from the freezer that was still cold and put it in the fridge, will plan to use it up this week, going to be some interesting meals! DH messed about with fridge but no joy so new one ordered and being delivered and fitted on Friday morning.
Tidied and cleaned other house before we left
Fridge emptied
WM on
I need to lesson plan for tomorrow.
More coffee needed

Work done, dailies done and dogs walked in the glorious sunshine. Because it's so warm I've put off cleaning the kitchen in favour of tidying the garden and am just about to sort through my seeds and see what to plant.Spend less now, work less later.10
