Morning all
Round sometimes you need to have a little time to just feel sorry for yourself, there are days when resisting it is pointless. Hope you feel better now x
Slept well, wide awake at 7am when I heard DS get up for work. Have cleaned the kitchen, sorted the recycling and tidied around. Its mild out and I want to do something. DH is still in bed, I bet you he will be tired when he does eventually surface and will want to just sit on the sofa. He has less energy than DS who has Crohns and is still recovering from Lymphoma.
The garden needs tidying, and I want to get outside. We will see.11 -
Squeak still in her nest after a 'late' night.. she stayed up until 10pm!! (she is 10) so we could play warcraft.. she has had a wonderful time playing with me and OH. It is really hard to make time for her with how easy she is and how demanding the other 3 are.Mogs fed and window opened so they can hop about outside.Twinkle at dentist in the morning 9:45... (reminding self!)
Naggy Nora.. I've needed new hooter holders for a while.. sadly it isn't happening any time soon because there are a million far more important things.
DW needs finishing filling and putting on. OH has the fridge to clean out today.. he loves that job! He can also change the bedding, because the sheet was crumpled last night and it distresses me. I am going to look at painting a wall. My shoulder is still sore but I might be able to get one was done. I have to at least try!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -

Picked up the album I did yesterday by mistake but I couldn't be bothered to swap it, so that's another 21 photographs chucked from it. Very surprising because it was easy to ditch them and I thought I'd done a pretty thorough job of it yesterday. Rather chuffed with that. This sytem definitley works for me and absolutely nothing has for the decade I've been desperate to get rid of thousands of them so I can have a very few albums which I'll enjoy looking at sometimes, rather than the mess I've got at the moment.Foodbank paperwork to be blitzed today and then more pruning of the filing cabinet, although in theory I only have to chuck five bits of paper. I may give myself a bit of a rest and only do the actual five required. I'll see how I feel later.Better is good enough.9

Washing on line
Best night's sleep I've had in ages because it occurred to me to throw out my old pillows. While I wait for my new ones I've borrowed a couple off the guest bed. I was waking in the night, blocked nose, coughing and needing my inhaler - not today!
Online learning ready to roll. Off for my jab shortly.
Huge kudos to NHS staff and volunteers who are sorting all this. Doesn't change my view on the Govt. but that's not for here.
Washing on line but didn't press the right button so one lot hasn't been washed.
Kaz - not sure of the legalities but you could sell them on ebay. They're so light...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Afternoon all
After a week of being stuck in front of a screen I decided to have mostly tech free day yesterday. It was definitely needed. DH and I cleaned the house, then we had a walk and a nice restful afternoon with a book.
I had a good nights sleep, although I still woke early so this morning I’ve prepped the veg for supper, finished my book that we will discuss tomorrow in book club, wm x 1, wudupa, then once DH was up we deep cleaned the bedroom, curtains down, washed and rehung, lampshade cleaned, windows cleaned, all furniture moved out and a thorough vac done, all wood furniture emptied, waxed, buffed and polished. Shuffled pictures around and rehung some nice ones from our wedding in the bedroom. It all looks and feels lovely in there now.
We’ve had lunch and another walk, now I have a new book and am going to settle in with that for a couple of hours.
Take care all x7 -

Miraculously I actually did my list this morning. I also went to the allotment and came home with some leeks, a baby cabbage (should have been a full size one, not sure why it stayed baby) and a meagre crop of carrots. Dinner is in the sc, and I have pulled up enough weeds and ivy to make the green bin worth going out for collection. 4 files of out of date paperwork found. Another load in the wm.
I think that’s me about done. I’ll see you all on the new thread xx6
