The rhubarb and stem ginger scones are surprisingly ok. There was a slight problem but we'll draw a line under the fruit pastilles that I also bought in Sainsb..... (the only place round here that sold the stem ginger). They were 10p a packet more that @sd@ by the way but that's irrelevant because I've eaten them.

The HT squandered his £10 on a posh milkshake each for him and his partner but at least I got an hours work for my money.

Good evening. No update yesterday, I had a day with the HT. We went out shopping for a new keyboard for my pc. I have a mechanical one now which is easier to type on. I have arthritis and I wasn't hitting some of the letters hard enough on the other one so a lot of words had an "i" missing and had to be corrected. When we came home we connected the keyboard and did some online gaming together.

More gaming this morning and then we went for a drive this afternoon - the HT doesn't walk far because it hurts him too much and we did a bit of walking yesterday. NSD today though (about time) and tomorrow and Sunday should also be NSDs if we meal plan properly. There's plenty in the fridge and freezer, enough fruit for me and I had my first tomatoes out of the garden with my lunch today and then another one with dinner - yum. I had to water the tomatoes morning and evening today though because it's been so warm. Something has eaten my one courgette but the cucumber seems to be hanging on and there's more baby cucmbers on the plant. I have enough raspberries to make jam but we don't need any more yet so they're in the freezer.

Good morning... My weekend so far...looked after person managed to scratch himself yesterday while I was cutting an apple up for him in the kitchen. I had to wash his socks and t-shirt because it looked like a massacre. He had to wear the HT's stuff until his dried. His mum said he does bleed a lot but I've never seen so much blood appear from one small scratch. LaP's mum changed the drop off place twice before I actually managed to hand him back. After all the nmessing round, the HT and I went for fish and chips for tea.

Today is promising to be quieter depending on if I go to collect our prescriptions or not. I thought my arthritis medication was in a strange box and I've just looked it up. I've been taking anticoagulants. No wonder I've been bruising easily. This is the third time I've had the wrong medication off them so I'm thinking I may have a better chance of seeing whoever is in charge if I leave it until tomorrow. Given that I have elevated liver enzymes from the gallstone in the bile duct incident (they are going down slowly), anticoagulants are just about the last thing that I should be taking.

NSD today hopefully as there's nothing to disrupt my routine. It's very warm but I have discovered that if I leave the fan on overnight it drowns out any noise from leaving my window open (very loud seagulls at 4:15am usually)/ I've been out and watered the tomatoes, the rest of the garden is in the sun just now and can wait until later.

So, let me see if I've got this right: your GP hasn't changed your meds, the pharmacy's been giving you the wrong item??  :o

Yes. No wonder I've been thinking I need to make an appointment to see the GP because my pain levels have been quite bad. I decided to go today while it was quiet and as luck would have it the head pharmacist was there. He's a decent chap who has gone out of his way to spend time explaining things to me previously. He has replaced the incorrect medication and said that there will be an investigation and a report sent to my GP to let them know. I should have had etoricoxib but they gave me edoxaban labelled as etoricoxib.

That’s really bad…can you report something like that to pals? My relative nearly died from being given the wrong dosage of medication (from the doctor not the pharmacist), so it’s really serious when they get things wrong.

I usually double check before I take anything that looks different. The pharmacist is a very earnest, serious person and I do trust him to investigate. One time the thing they gave me was so wrong that they actually made someone walk to my house to get it back and give me the right thing. Luckily I noticed that before I took any. I feel a bit stupid myself to be fair for not looking this one up.

Blimey, that is really really dire.
    With potentially very scary consequences.
Glad there is going to be an investigation.
