Good morning. Yesterday was a spendy day as we ended up in Pizza Hut for lunch. On the plus side we didn't need an evening meal - not even the HT and it's money well spent as he has to talk to me instead of sitting in his bedroom. If we go out next week it will be a cheap one..... NSD today as I'm having lunch at home with best friend then we're going for a walk. He's even more unft than me. Should be fun 🙄
The brownie recipe for @Naomim and @jokono
Ingredients :
Flour - 75g
Eggs - 2
Sugar - 150g
Cocoa powder - 50g
Milk chocolate - 100g (I use half and half white and milk giant choc buttons as they're
easy to break with your fingers)
Butter - 100g
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Vanilla - 2 tsp
Method :
Preheat the oven to 190C. Line a square tin with foil and grease it (I use non stick foil, no greasing needed).
Put the butter and sugar in a saucepan and heat gently until butter is melted and sugar mixed in.
Add in cocoa and mix well then add in flour, baking soda and salt and mix well.
Take the pan off the heat and add the eggs and vanilla and mix until it becomes smooth.
Fold in the chopped chocolate and mix well.
Tip into tin and bake for 20-25 minutes. Insert a knife and it will have some moist crumbs on it.
Cut into squares and enjoy with a glass of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
The best way to do it is measure the butter and sugar into a pan then have everything else ready in little bowls so you can just tip it in. Bicarb and salt goes in the flour bowl and vanilla goes in the bowl wth the eggs.6 -

@WinterWarrior add the ingredients to your next grocery shop. What's the worst that could happen? 🤣1
