Is it starting to feel real yet? I remember it got real for me when I paid the deposit over.
  • @killerpeaty not really. I think once the paperwork is signed and the money is out of my account then it will feel real.

It's 2 weeks on Friday I get the keys and 3 weeks on Friday I am moving in so it will be hear in no time really!
  • Hoping to hear from the solicitor today at least to make an appointment for me to go in and sign.

I just have no patience whatsoever and I want everything all in place.
  • Picked some bunk beds, bedding and curtains for my spare room. My BFs daughter and my niece and nephew will be staying over and I want to have the room looking all lovely for them.

Found the bedding and curtains on Wayfair cheaper than anywhere else so will order them today.

Bunk beds I will need to wait until after I have been paid to order those.

  • Just cashed out on some survey rewards so £20.00 added to my Amazon balance.

The bedding and curtains would have cost me £79.97 from Wayfair but just ordered them from Amazon. They reduced the price of the curtains since I added them to my basket so with that and my Amazon balance I paid a total of £59.08 - bargain!!!
  • Solicitor emailed to say she has the H2B ISA closing statement and will be in touch by the end of the week.

I also found some lovely living room furniture and can't find it in stock anywhere! Found a website called Shoc Furniture and it let me place an order but I bet you they email me tomorrow to say they don't have them and need to order them in.

I'm hoping I'm wrong but we shall see.

It's this TV unit, coffee table and side table in black.

  • It's an older style property built in the 1960's and renovated in the 1990's.

It's going in quick and I'm pretty organised so I am happy with that.

16 days until I get the keys!
  • So I need some pots and pans, any suggestions??

I'm sure the ones I had before were Tefal and they were alright.
