HSBC Advance Switch Is Back £125

I've just applied but didn't get an instant decision - it just said that they had all the information that they require and will be in touch. Excellent credit record and my salary is plenty above £1750 per month, so not sure why there wasn't an instant decision.

When switching it has to be with 2 DD or Standing orders - can I switch one DD and one standing order?0

Recieved my £125 today. That was quite painless - bar the setting up of internet banking because the telephone banking secure code didn't come. Had to ring up and spend a lot of time on the phone instead.0

Has anybody here who recently opened an account with HSBC had push notifications enabled in their mobile app yet (i.e. instant notifications of money in/out)?0 -
My other half applied on 10th Feb and other than an SMS on 26th Feb saying they were experiencing delays processing new applications has heard absolutely nothing.
He called HSBC yesterday and the person he spoke to said that she couldn't see an account in his name but couldn't access the system with new applications and gave him another number to call. It's absolutely impossible to get through to that number, so he popped into the branch at lunchtime. They could see his application is pending, has passed verification checks but hasn't progressed since the day he applied and can't see any reason why.
He didn't have time as he was on his way back to work but they said they could have the account open within half an hour if he goes back into the branch.0 -

Rang up several times and had the same answer "someone is still working on your account". How long can it take, it's ridiculous.0
