@candygirl Lol! My guy works for air france as a pilot in command, so they cant do without him!! But he has been grounded for a while. .. he supervises and teaches so maybe he can teach me a thing or two in the mile high club PMSL!!
  • Ladies.......a little decorum.  😂🤣.  All this talk of mile high clubs is making me laugh, and then when I laugh, I get a coughing fit.🤒

@helensbiggestfan LOL!  Well we need something to make us laugh and it cheers me up enough to get rid of a bit more clutter!!
And who wouldn't want a fit younger man to distract us!!
My man said he would write my name in the sky if he could!  My reply was.... not with an Airbus 320 you won't! Imagine the turbulence for the passengers

Does anybody else remember, when Dierdre Barlow was dating John the pilot? He was really working at Tie Rack at Manchester airport!🤣🤣🤣
It's nice to have a bit of love interest though ladies. Enjoy 😘xx

Funnily enough, the current episodes of Classic Coronation Street on ITV3 each weekday afternoon are covering that storyline.

@Frogletina... I don't  watch classic corrie but I  remember the storyline well.  It certainly throws up issues of how we can be conned.... and this was very much on my mind about my potential relationships not only with a pilot but anyone!
We all think that we are not vulnerable..... but we are! I was well aware and still am.
On another funny side though.... a friend if mine who lives  abroad.... met a man online, got chatting on phone and arranged to meet, she was so excited going on her date with a Doctor, who said he was meeting her straight from work.
I was staying with her at the time, and when she got back from the date I  asked how it went... DON'T ASK! she said ... but when she was ready to talk about it.... it turns out that he arrived scruffily dressed and wearing a high vis jacket.... it turns out that he was a 'DOCKER! not DOCTOR!'  I guess that because of his accent she heard him wrong!!! .... lost in translation  I think LOL!

My love interest, my muse, is currently abroad where he's been for several months with his parents at his family home. I've not seen him since January 2020.

I'm not his girlfriend, in fact he told me not to fall in love with him when we first met, 10 years ago.

Maybe I need to get my love and romantic sector activated!

@Frogletina.... awe.... it's so difficult in these current times. 10 years is a long time to have a love interest, especially when he says don't  fall in love with him!!! Not sure if I'd wait that long! You get that love and romance activated with feng shui!
I also use other methods of manifesting.... and prior to my potential guy coming onto the scene... I  asked the universe for the man who was mine by Divine Right..... that was 13th September 2019.... on 22 and sept (9 days later) he appeared.
That's almost 18 months ago now..... and we had plans to meet last year.... but then lockdown happened. However neither of us have lost the commitment to get together just as soon as allowed to travel!
You need to find yourself a new love focus!

For the last few days I have lacked motivation.... which is a common reason for most of the clutter that I have accumulated.
I keep things 'that will come in useful.... save me money.... etc'
And then I  lack the motivation to actually use them!
I have come to recognize the de -motivators in my life... the biggest being, stress, depression, ill health... lack of self esteem.... etc.
And I've never actually changed that focus to see what DOES motivate me.
You would think that having a nice clean tidy house would be the biggest motivation.... but in a stressed depressed state.... it is definitely not a motivator.... it's  a hide your head under a blanket and pretend it's not there.... it's a 'I will do it later, tomorrow, next week etc.... I can be a great procrastinator!
So I have started to change my focus!
So my motivational feeling today... is that of having fun!
I have laughed at a few posts on here today at joining the mile high club and classic corrie storyline! It lifted my spirits that we can laugh at things and so I finally got back to glossing the woodwork in my dining room.
So it would be great if some of you would post what motivates you to continue with decluttering.... maybe it will inspire me and others to get more focused.
  • My voice has gone.  My son rang me.  It was a funny phone call.  Me barely able to whisper. He found it very funny so of course I laughed too.  It’s good to see the funny side, gets those endorphins flowing.

My motivational technique is to “envisage my future self”. And try to live as if my future is now.  Not explaining it very well.

But I picture a beautiful home, me wearing something nice and looking glamourous,me 💃🎉 🍸🛳.🌞💐That kind of thing.  That spurs me on to make things happen.

However after today  I need I think to add something.💕🧑🏻‍✈️Or maybe 🧑‍🎨. Or even 🧑‍🚒.  Lol
