NSD 6 today. Productive home school day - we started today's work on the right day for once, even if we did not finish it (we have not finished it). Will upload it tonight.Used up a jar of sauce that has sat in the cupboard since last summer. We were simply never that desperate for a quick meal, anyway, utterly boring 1970s style ys curry sauce caused much hilarity with the kids. Made a rice pudding with the last of the infamous risotto rice (nobody in A&E this time), a tray of 6 fat gingerbread rings and a tray of 6 huge chocolate buns, all nicely iced and looking lovely. I can cheerfully abandon them all tomorrow and not wonder if they have eaten.Did the online 'When will you get offered the vaccine?' thing and it reckons my 46 yr old no underlying health conditions self will be jabbed at the start of April. Did not expect that, as last time I did it, it was sometime in August.See what happens when you let the NHS do its thing. Imagine what it would be like if it was properly funded!Gratitudes :Candles lit, football on, warm house (£200 bill last MONTH alone!), Octopusses being excellent (please don't eat them!), creeping ever closer to half term.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Sorry I've been quiet again.Managed a NSD today, which is a small miracle. I'm now on 4/15. I'm going to struggle this month, tomorrow I have to pay the electrician again - two payments for slightly different jobs - so that rules out tomorrow being a NSD. I'm hoping next week I can claw something back, but to be honest, I don't foresee me reaching 15. I'll be happy with double figures this month.
I think my run on Sunday has caused me some foot trouble. It was the farthest distance for a while, I think maybe a bit too much, as for past few days my ankle hurts when I wake up or rest for a while, and then try to put weight on it. After I've hobbled about for ten minutes, it's fine, but something I should keep an eye on, don't want it getting worse. I had a day off Monday and went for a shorter run on Tuesday, day off today and will do same route as Tuesday I think tomorrow. Must remember to stretch properly, I'm rubbish at it, and almost always forget and my body is telling me about it now!February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00

Received next months bcard statement and my min payment has increased by £80 😕. Will be good to pay off more and can manage it but still a hefty increase!! I’m hearing council tax, energy, tv license, BT are all going up and my grocery bill is on the high side yet no increase in income. Will start thinking about Marchs budget soon so I’m not caught short!!
20 minutes brisk walk around the block today. Very cold but good to stretch the legs and get some fresh air.
Rubbish day work wise - Everything I pick up has a query on it. Very unproductive day.
DS struggled with one of his school tasks so asked the teacher for help so he will have to have another go tomorrow. DH also had a rubbish day in work so we’re all grumpy here today!
Although grateful for, both having a job, and support when needed from ds teacher.

Loads of washing on the line, went out to the bins 3 times and stayed out until my tiny hands were frozen ie first time took a bag of paper to the paper bin + some items for the brown bin (plastic, tins, glass) from my room and then the ones from the kitchen, unlocked the padlock on the gate, brought the two bins in that had gone out for collection, checked the mail box, picked some things up from the floor to put in the green bin, back outside the gate to sweep stones from the pavement back onto the 'garden' (stonery), not sure if bins displaced the stones or whether a dog or cat has had a dig, put bin back in line and moved the board with all the small raised bed pieces across to newly emptied bin, put my washing and the bag of pegs in the trolley to take down the yard, sat on a garden chair to wait for mum to come out of the kitchen (another load of washing to take out of the machine) but came in to warm up (mum was playing put things 'away' in the freezer - no labels, just enough sellotape to repel boarders).
It was a good day for painting but felt as though painting would leave me unable to move my arms for several days (I moved some reasonable but quite heavy things around outside yesterday and the repetition must have been too much) so did more embroidery (one bird house all done except for the thumb) but stopped as soon as the light started to go. My lamp arrived and some of the craft supplies (peel off happy birthday lettering) but light bulbs tomorrow. A spend day as I finally got round to redoing the order that was lost when the internet went down, so on 7 NSDs. I keep forgetting to mention that I have put quite a lot of pennies in my penny challenge tin (I don't do it in order but try to start with the high end) and have found a few coins here and there as I work my way across the room. I am up to the last patch of floor that needs clearing and cleaning and cleared off my bedside trolley yesterday evening. ATM it only has my cup, a jug holding my drink and a small dish of fruit (apple and a few berries). Bank balance was checked last Friday and is healthy (but I want to double the current total by the end of the year). I have a long term ambition which will need some money but don't want to say too much as I'm not yet sure if it is possible.
Without really trying, I have made headway with most of the tasks on this week's list. Not done a great deal outside because it is so cold but have done some things (started to bring the recycled plastic raised bed bits from the shed to the garden table - next to the painting table) and also moved some 2 l bottles filled with water to behind the shed.
Today I am grateful for my grandpuppy and grandchinchillas, for bung it in the oven food, for my bed and the support it gives me.

Mop arrived. It's brilliant (told you I was sad!). It's one on those speed mop thingies. Not the cheapest way to clean a floor admittedly but it will make a huge difference to me time and health wise. I think that sometimes there are things that are more important than saving money - provided it's affordable and budgeted for, of course. For instance neither me or Himself are practical so stress and time wise it's better for us to get a decorator rather than attempt it ourselves. I do need to get some things done in the house but I'm leaving it for just now. Don't think some of it is legal here at the moment anyway.
I get my vaccination tomorrow (hopefully, if the weather complies) and Himself has just had his letter for next week. I really hope this works out and we can just get out for a bit of a walk soon.
I love your daily sayings/quotes Mothernerd. Struggling to do five things that I do really well although maybe it's not all meant to be of a practical nature.

@Toni'sfriend I agree, I beat myself up for paying for the car wash even though every time I do it myself I end up with a back flare up. I've recently accepted it's not worth the pain any more!
NSD number 8 today. Busy day at work, keeps me out of trouble and stops me even picking up my phone! Sold a few books on ebay and some on another site. Realised I have no box to post them with so will have to get creative lol.8 -
Today I am grateful for a good walk with dd, for my book, for teaching some lovely lovely kids, for my jigsaw, for my family.
