Happy Wednesday folksWeek going okay so far, tummy settled down. Got some cold walks done. Hope it warms up soon, clearing car in the mornings together with icy road to work is not good. Frozen water leak at the bottom of my hill, waterboard have never solved the problem in years I have lived up here. Anyway minus 2 is nothing says dd2 in Canada they are at -20 this week. Not feeling in Money saving mode but I am squirrelling away into savings pretty well atm.NSD at 5/15. Brilliant and such an emotional watch, something I probably wouldn't have watched but couldn't find the sky remote. hehe. Today hasn't been a NSD. I bought a new mop. It’s a bit of a better one than the old basic one that I had which wasn’t very effective and, to be honest, now that I’m getting on a bit, a bit difficult on my back. Highlight of the week - buying a mop. God, that’s really sad.
Pasta for tea. Looks yummy.
Had a long and very funny Facebook chat with my cousin which has cheered both of us up no end. And I got a message from my friend. I don’t see her very often because she spends her time between here and London but it seems like ages (and it is) since I last saw her.
Snow is starting to melt but it’s still really cold.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
@Calling14 I played hide and seek with an octopus in a Swiss aquarium once. They are such clever animals. Should not be in a cage. Ever. I love Octopussuses. ,

Calling - yep, they may have -20 compared to our measly -2, but they do not have the damp that gets into your bones! They have DRY cold and that is just so much more bearable. They'd be in shorts + tee shirt if it was only -2!!!

NSD number 7 (I think). Had a busy day in court for work today, keeps me active doing lots of running around and I enjoy court work. But goodness me was it cold out! Also had a disaster first thing when my breakfast milkshake leaked all over my bag
Popped to the library to pick up a couple of books, they're nice and thick haha. Definitely want to make more use of the library this year.6 -
Hi happy Wednesday. Just went for a very cold run, and I just can't get warm. Also ds1 is making chili and we have run out of cumin, and since I do the shopping I am a criminal! I have asked them for a shopping list for what they want to make for the week!
Anyways NSD9 today (incl 3 from end of January), pretty good for me.

Not much else going on.

No pennies spent today. 5/15 NSDs.
Another busy day at work but very productive. No walk - I didn’t even step outside!
Good news on the nursery front for DS - he got a place at the school nursery. Great for him and great for us as we won’t be paying expensive private nursery fees anymore.
I was intending to read last night but started watching ‘It’s a Sin’ on ch4. I was born in the 80s so am only vaguely aware of the backstory of the cruel disease that took so many men’s lives.
Grateful for science, television, and talented actors.

Hi all
NSD # 6 today! Can't believe how many i'm managing. I've started doing online shopping which really helps as i'm meal planning and eating what i've got. Getting my next delivery tomorrow so it won't be a NSD so i'll do any other necessary spending such as sending money for niece's birthday.
Been let down by big heating company as they text me 3 times this afternoon saying on schedule but when i went on my account at 5.30pm after they hadn't appeared and scrolled down the page they have put my appointment as next monthAt least i managed to make my Fb exercise class which warmed me up.
Gratitudes - i have some heating and hot water; nice chat with boss; keeping in touch with sisters via our group chat
