Thanks guys
I have read the back in time feature but i am still confused! It says you can change a transaction up to 30 days when it was paid.
So if i pay with Barclays card and 20 days later i want to change that to Lloyds how does it work?
The charge Barc initially then refund that and charge lloyds instead? Also, how will that appear in your statement? Will my new lloyds transaction appear from day 20 or day 1 - If that makes sense?
Finally - what if you paid with Barclays and that took you overdrawn? Then on day 20 you used another card to go back tin time - i assume you still pay the overdrawn charges?
So many questions - they dont tell you0 -
It works essentially as you described. The debit date on the cards I have used to shift transactions to has always been the date/time of the shifting.
I don't know how it works in the case of overdrafts as I don't do overdrafts but if you are desperate to find out, try it out. Curve wouldn't tell you about the handling of refunds/overdrafts by banks any more than a retailer would tell you how a bank will handle refunds/overdrafts. You could also try asking in the Curve user forum.1 -
I would imagine that curve essentially just pay one account with another through some kind of internal exchange mechanism, they may even foot the bill themselves for the short interim. Either way, it’s not a bad feature to have.If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

Yes, i mean it sounds like a great feature. Just dont understand the logistics of how it works!
But sounds amazing.0 -
I have a quick question, having applied for Curve last week and using it for the first time on Saturday. Is it normal for one purchase to show twice, one entry looking as though the payment has gone through, and the second showing pending? It's been like that since I made the purchase and is still like that today? Underlying card shows payment made, not pending.0

I haven't ever seen this in hundreds of transactions, but there is always a first. You can ask their CS in the app chat, they are usually quite responsive. Or try their Twitter, or the Curve Community - although neither of these will be able to look at your specific transaction.0

Thanks Daliah, it has dropped off of it's own accord this afternoon. I'm not sure if it is related to me getting an email from their CS yesterday asking me to 'explain' my purchase and pointing me to their ToS and Fair Use policy, as well as adding the phrase "Curve’s core value proposition is for day-to-day spend." I couldn't see I'd done anything wrong and I did email back what the purchase was. They responded my purchase was fine and they had removed the block from my card.
