Does anyone know, once the Halifax Mortgage Tracker has ticked that your income and expenditure has a green light, does that mean it’s past the underwriting stage?0

Finally - valuation next Tuesday!0

Valuation today in the morning and offer received the same day.
Very good process, only had issues due to some issues with site access for the valuation initially.

I've joined the Halifax party as of xmas eve.
AIP - 24/12/21
Full application submitted - 24/12/21
I've had both soft and hard searches appear on my credit report. No money has been taken from my account yet for the valuation.
The only thing outstanding is that I need to give my broker next months payslip as I made some amendments to my work pension which will be reflected in the next payslip. I'm not really sure how he submitted the application without the payslip but hey ho. If anyone knows, feel free to share how that works with me.
I got a feeling my application won't be as quick as all the others on here mainly due to the payslip issue I have. 😤0 -
Got my Halifax mortgage offer. However one caveat; the offer has a special condition which states that I must repay any mortgage on any property I own or am selling.
I have another property which is a BTL and I don't plan on selling it or paying off. My broker knew of this property too. Is this something that they put in every mortgage offer?
I've also dropped my broker an email but asking here as someone may know if this is a standard clause in the mortgage offer and I'm getting worried for no reason. 😥

Got the heads up from Halifax that they are happy with me having the BTL mortgage and it was factored in when issuing my mortgage offer. Happy days. 🎉0

We’re about to apply to Halifax for our AIP. Our LTV will be 31.5%. Looking to borrow £63k on a combined income of £50k.AIP should go in on Wednesday and full application possibly the same day (buying a sibling out of an inherited property).I’m so pleased to hear how fast Halifax seem to be.Using a broker so hopefully there won’t be any issues. What evidence do you think they’ll ask for in our scenario? Last time we applied as first time buyers they needed 3 months of every bank statement etc plus a few other documents.0

After a successful AIP, my application went into Halifax a week ago but the broker has not heard anything. Feels like forever. Is this normal at the moment?0

Hi, just wondering what Halifax timescales are like at the moment. Are timescales for direct applications any different to via a broker?
07.04.22 - AIP
08.04.22 - Full application (over phone)
08.04.22 - Docs uploaded
08.04.22 - valuation instructed & fee paid
