Halifax Mortgage application (awaiting decision)

08.04.22 - Full application (over phone)
08.04.22 - Docs uploaded
08.04.22 - valuation instructed & fee paid

14.04.22 - Valuation took place
14.04.22 - valuation returned - all ok and now has a green tick

income & commitments section is not showing as complete yet…
I would have thought that this would have been checked off before the valuation?? Has anyone had any similar experiences?

Please can you tell me if this timeline is normal - my tracker is stick with the income box not being ticked Green and I am on the edge of my nerves……

DIP done 30.09
Full application 01.10 - apparently we passed with an A1 score
Valuation paid 01.10
Upload one extra payslip (bonus) 04.10
Valuation completed 05.10 

We are borrowing 3.5 times salary, 70%ltv

I know - I keep refreshing the mortgage tracker but it’s futile as they email you when it changes anyway 😂

Should hopefully get a formal offer soon…….

We were told this morning that the valuation took place yesterday and we are now waiting for the valuer to upload this to Halifax. But no idea how long that will take!

We had our mortgage offer through yesterday
 probably about ten working days total, which seems pretty good
