And before you know it, it's 2022

So who is confident of a trip this year?

We are booked to go in April and I am slightly confident of it going ahead (as we managed to get to Florida for Christmas and it went pretty smoothly)
Booked for July, delayed from 2020 so everything is crossed but I think it's looking better for this year.
  • Hi Folks

I am looking at heading over to vegas as a group of eight in May 23. Could somebody point me in the right direction for the best priced suites which would accomodate that number.

    Thanks

    Elara
    x2 of the 4bedroom suites.
There is no best price suites to cater for large groups. :)
  • Got a trip booked at the end of March, staying in the Venetian - not stayed there before, but have stayed in the Palazzo so I imagine it’s pretty similar. Haven’t been for 2 years now, I really can’t wait! I’m hoping it won’t feel too different, I’m expecting to still be fully masked up. Keen to check out Resorts World, it’s been a while since there’s been a new casino to explore. Couldn’t believe the prices to stay there though, hopefully it will come down a bit! Also a chance to say goodbye to the Mirage, it won’t be the same same when the strip doesn’t have the volcano any more. Ah well, I suppose Vegas always changes…

Venetian entry level suites are a smidge smaller, and more traditional decor. They also have a railing separating the split levels, rather than the marble counter top.

And assuming you're staying in the main tower, not the Venezia Tower.

Re: Resorts World prices, it depends which hotel you're looking to book - there are 3 on site. Crockfords is the high end, Conrad in the middle, Hilton is the 'basic' - depending on when you're going, the Hilton rooms can be found for pretty low prices.

Very jealous! We're hoping to go back at Christmas.

Have you found decent car hire rates for your trip. Mine are still coming up astronomical. Like £500/ week. Crazy.

Pebbles - I'd be interested to see what the prices are like that you get from here: https://hiltonhonors3.hilton.com/en/offers/100062960.htm
(I haven't checked if there's any additional fees beyond the headline prices or insurance cover or the cancellation terms)

I know you're a seasoned enough traveller and user of this forum to have checked airport vs. off-airport pick-up / collection... can sometimes make a big difference (just mentioning for the benefit of others)

Ours were coming up really expensive too, but we used the search engine on this site and found some massively cheaper - we were initially being quoted £677 for a Nissan versa! We found a good one through Skyscanner's tool in the end, got a Dodge Charger for about £350 (nine days).

Thank you - I assumed the Venetian would be slightly more old fashioned. The prices were coming up the same for V and P, we went for V in the end for the novelty value as we hadn't been there before. I really want to look at Resorts World before I stay there, and would want to stay in the higher end part. The video tours of the rooms didn't look that amazing.

We managed to bag business class flights in the BA sale - my first time turning left! Wanted to push the boat out a bit as it's been so long. God, I miss Vegas...
