  • Ahh not good, the steering rack IS expensive 😔 hopefully it will get through next mot and bide you enough time to think about a suitable replacement. Isn’t it awful that you’re making such great progress to then be back in to owing money again just because of a car! Can’t live with ‘em, can’t live without ‘em! 😂
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

Also, the fish tank has leaked again so our floor is completely ruined. So we're getting new wood flooring and a new tank over the weekend

Hahah this made me chuckle!! 😂 Yes he's fitting it himself, I've had to book the tip so we get to rip the flooring up Saturday and that's all I'm helping with as I'll be in the way

My OH is a plumber so does a bit of everything which is useful!

    Morning all!

Sainsburys are paying me my owed £57 tomorrow so that's a bonus and it's also payday from my main job! Not much going on today, work is super quiet! We're literally sat down drinking coffee, 😂

    Evening all,

Not much happening but just feeling really positive towards the debt now. I have constant over time availability there it I want it. Ive been asked to let my line manager know if I want anything for the next 3 weeks. So that's a positive but I also don't want to burn myself out either.

OH starter to pull up the rubbish flooring we've got so the house looks like it's exploded  hopefully we will have nice new wooden flooring by Sunday evening!

Plan on action for next month is pay fluid and order car parts and get it into the garage. I'm just thinking into the future about how the extra income and savings from having no debt can go towards buying a house with OH. I can't wait, it's a real motivation boost!

Hi Jade, all seems like positive steps!

In terms of your Sainsburys job, is it a fixed term contract with an end date? Or is it a permanent contract with the opportunity to pick up overtime as and when? :)

    Thanks!

It's actually a temp position at the moment but everyone so far I've spoken to said they started temp and they ended up getting a contract. So I'm hoping for a contract from January. But they're so short staffed that they're always offering over time

    Morning all,
Sorry not posted much. If I'm not at Sainsburys working I'm at my other job and if I'm not doing that I'm sleeping

OH started laying the new flooring Friday, it's nearly finished but we had to pop out yesterday to buy more. They have a deal on at the minute of buy 4 for the price of 3

I'm working in Sainsburys all week again as they're so short staffed. I worked 28.8 hours last week with them, the cut off for payday is next Saturday so might do some extra shifts next week but not the whole week again!

Some little poo head has stolen a part off my car, its only £10 to replace but still annoying

I plan on going home after work and doing some cleaning, it's OH turn to make dinner tonight so I can watch some TV before falling asleep around 9PM
