Morning all! I'm busy busy with sainsburys until Sunday and they've asked me to work some next week also but I'll see how I feel. Cut off for next payday isn't until 2 weeks time. I'm already at £688 this pay. So extra money will help! Not had much time to think about CCs or loans just been plodding along with them

Right, so plan of attack. See how much the car will cost me! MOT is due December 18th and I have a high feeling it's going to fail. But I do get another two pays before MOT is due. I plan on paying Fluid off this month and halving Barclaycard.

  • Hi Jade, sounds like the extra shifts are going well, it’s not impacting your performance at your other job is it?

Are you planning to use the extra income from Sainsburys solely to pay off the debt? It’s money you’ve never had that won’t necessarily miss so it would make complete sense to do so.

fingers crossed with the car, providing you don’t have any dangerous defects, you’ll be good for a bit longer - if the car is getting on a bit, have you started to build in a maintenance fund with your budget? I often find, alongside an EF a car maintenance pot should follow!
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

    Thanks!

Nope it's not, my other job is really quiet recently anyway. Yes that's the plan. Yes agreed to makes sense to pay off as much debt as possible with the money from Sainsburys. My car needs a few drive shafts which are a little expensive and hard to get hold of at the moment :lol!

  • That’s great, it’s a physically demanding job but what you get paid for what you do is good!

driveshafts are relatively easy to replace and not overly expensive - they will make grinding noises and affect your handling if they are failing at the ball joints...if it’s a CV boot then you can get new rubber boots which are cheap and replace them cheaply/easily (depending on age of car and how long you want to keep it you can get split CV boots that are rubber welded together so easy to put on!)

I need all four, it's an 02 plate TT. I can't fine them anywhere in stock. This is the big issue. Its the whole drive shifts are shot also steering rack needs changing aswell.
