Well done Jade, that extra will make a massive difference to your income. Have you decided how you are going to split the extra income? How are you finding it with the extra work you are doing?3

The extra income I'm going to focus on fixing the car first as MOT is due in December and I need to budget for it and if needs a few things done. I plan to then pay off my CCs. I put myself available for extra shifts, so I've got an extra shift tomorrow and then I'm working normal Wednesday, Friday and then Sunday. There's availability for Thursday also so going to see if I can nab that also.
The first shift was horrible, I was so tired and then had to go into my other job. But now I'm fine. I don't mind it at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Hi Jade,
Been absent for a while so just catching up on your progress! I see you are doing well and still have that determination!
without trying to sound like a nagging parent, please don’t work yourself silly just to earn a few extra pounds at the end of the month, it’s highly likely that Barclaycard, Aqua and the likes will still be trading and bloodsucking long after you depart this world, your health should come first!Interestingly, I have done what you’re doing now last year amidst the height of the pandemic and after 6 months of 4 hours sleep a night and 18 hour working days I had to call it a day for my own sake! But, that being said, it can be done.
One thing that really helped me was to have the income paid in to a separate account from my main accounts to try to lower the temptation of immediate spend.
providing you’re not in London weighting area, your pay will be £9.50ph with an extra £2.45ph between the hours of 00:01 - 05:00am due to the unsociable nature.
you will automatically be enrolled in to the pension scheme and you will not likely pay NI.After 3 months you’re entitled to staff discount card.
good luckIf you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
Secured/Unsecured loans x 1

Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing1 -

Thank you, yes agreed. I won't work myself into the ground. I'm really enjoying it though so that's a plus I guess.
I'm contracted to work 12 hours a week, Wednesday Friday and Sundays. I can opt for over time if I feel like it. Income is about £600 extra which I've set up with my Starling bank account.
Funny enough I checked the pension and they've not actually enrolled me yet, maybe they won't. Yes, I'm excited for my discount card! It's only a Temp position but I spoke to a few people who were temp.. Evening all!
Sorry been busy busy! If I'm not working my main job I'm at Sainsburys and if I'm not doing that I'm cleaning aha! Not a lot to update on really, I got my payslip for Sainsburys and they forgot to pay my training so I contacted them straight away and my line manager is paying me it next week. Still waiting for my uniform from them, I'm also working tomorrow Morning and Sunday. Then not back in until Wednesday. I did however put down over time availability for Monday Thursday and Saturday. I probably won't get all the over time but my name is put down for it. Homemade lasagne for dinner tonight and I've just finished baking some spuds for work lunch. Just need to take beans and cheese with me
