just a shame you dont have the balls to say which parking firm you run (although you have narrowed it down to about 3 firms from what you have said)AnotherForumite said:

If the PPC's have the power to dish out the PCN's they have the power to cancel them.AnotherForumite said:Lets not forget that, generally, the PPC does not make the rules; they simply enforce those requested by the landowner.
As such, if the landowner wants to charge people to park whilst attending an appointment; it is not for the operator to refuse to provide the service for which they have been contracted.
Furthermore, it is not the place of an APA to instruct its members to go against the wishes of their clients.
In other words, its the landowners that need to be lobbied; not the PPCs/APAs
I don't know why you continually defend this grubby business.
We must expect PPC's to join in the forum especially as there is not much for them to do right now or the next few months
very clear who you are

Simplest way to manage this issue would be for the government to slip in a simple line or two in the coronavirus legalisation to allow those attending a site for vaccination to park free of charge - after all the legislation has been updated around 300 times sine it started last March and at least 3 times since the start of December - doesn't even need to go through parliamentary discussion as it is just "laid" before the chamber. Recall one update (I think September time) was laid at 22:00 and became law at midnight - so our lords and masters could quite easily remedy the situation and as it were, cut the PPC's off at the knees5

Well we think he's Simple, he'd say he's Intelligent, and we all know he 'works' in Parking and signs their claim forms. Wasn't hard to work out. We even know who signs those claims. An IPC firm using a certain acronym; they use Gladstones and we beat them in court.AnotherForumite said:

So, why has this company representative not followed forum rules and signed up as his company, officially?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
