  • Wow that’s a fast timeline, hoping ours will be the same.

We’re 90 ltv so higher risk, my mortgage broker didn’t see any problems but i just worry far to much!

Thank you for sharing your time line
  • I Worried too, but it was quick, my mums application on the other hand was slightly longer and she got there - have faith
Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!
  • What documents did NatWest require you all to submit for self-employed applicants? My partner is an ltd director and so far we have submitted 2 years' tax calculations and tax year overviews and one year's accounts when submitting the application, just wondering if the underwriter will be requesting anything else from us?
  • We got a request late yesterday for Sa100 to be submitted to see if my partner had claimed the government grant.

Was told by the mortgage broker it’s nothing to worry about as they’re just making sure he has now bounced back from covid.

Have you just submitted the application?

    Ours is moving very fast.

Submitted application on the 20th and valuation is already taking place today and asked for sa100 yesterday.

    Good luck
  • We submitted our application last Friday 16/09 and so far we haven't had any additional requests. I don't have access to the NatWest mortgage tracker unfortunately as we're going through a broker and he hasn't given us the application ID. I know that they will definitely need us to submit a gifted deposit letter and I'm quite worried that the application is moving too slow. Our broker got in touch with us yesterday to let us know that all documents have been reviewed and the application is now with the underwriter for full assessment.

Hoping for a positive outcome as we have already had one application declined. Good luck!

  • 22 working days so far and our buyer still doesn't have their offer (that we know of).

    Thank you!

I got the application ID and it looks like nothing has happened since submission last Friday, everything is still pending review.
  • My still looks like everything is pending review, seems that there in touch with my mortgage broker before they change the status on there.

Can’t believe how stressful it is.
  • We submitted an application via a broker on 16th Sept, husbands SA100 requested on 20th, valuation was booked for last Friday (23rd). Broker is still waiting for feedback from the underwriters apparently. Anyone else absolutely bricking it with the current news?!
