Application submitted via broker 10/05, one employed, one self employed, 70% LTV. Credit checked us both 10/05 but it’s been radio silence since then. Hoping we hear something soon, feels strange instructing solicitors to start working before knowing for certain if we can borrow0

So no changes to the tracker, everything is still ticked off, and my mortgage broker chased them yesterday afternoon and was told they wanted bank statements (again), copies of student loans, and the memorandum of sale (we only have a doc from our home builder as its a part exchange and they've already had a copy of that).
Had a little stress cry. Working day 26 today 😔0 -
Question to our NatWest BDM yesterday;-
"App submitted on 09/05 not yet showing on tracker. Is there likely to be a problem, or is it just workload?"
Answer from out NatWest BDM yesterday;-
"Case still at pre-underwrite stage – they are taking 8 days through this stage and a further 7 for underwrite at the moment."

So I'm just waiting for them to process the ball statements, they did request my April wage slip and that's the latest. It looks like they are just doing their final checks before sending the mortgage offer. I'm employed and not self-employed.
The valuation/survey was fine and has been approved.
Mortgage broker said he's hoping we get an offer this week, is that realistic based off the timelines on this thread?

From what others are saying on this thread, if you are self-employed the checks take a little longer, if you are employed then it's quicker. I am hoping and praying I get my mortgage offer this week.

Just spoken to Natwest. Apparently it's with the underwriter and we should have an offer confirmed by close of play Tuesday. We shall see.1
