NatWest Mortgage Timescale 2021

Hi, our mortgage application with NatWest went in yesterday, valuation booked for 27th Sept, both hard credit checks have shown up on Experian yesterday - we are FTB, what should we expect now? Thanks!

i guess we’re at similar stages, from what I can gather they will asses your application and review/approve subject to valuation. Then once your valuation has been provided and all is well, present you an offer.

Thanks. I just logged on the mortgage tracker and saw this… hoping it’s not bad news.

Not necessarily bad news. May just need something clarified. They haven’t completed the valuation yet, so maybe just need something confirmed by your broker. Hopefully on Monday, your broker can let you know what they needed. You can always call them yourself. I made a couple of cheeky calls to Natwest just to clarify an update on my tracker just to ease my nerves. Good luck x

@Fudgecake3 can I check of you went through a broker or direct ? I thought it was hard search equifax and soft search experian?thanks

Thanks! I may do that! I went through a broker. Definitely hard search Equifax but nothing shown on Experian.

Hi guys, how long did it take for people to get anything from Natwest confirming mortgage. We were told by our mortgage advisor we were approved, nearly two weeks ago and still not received any confirmation over email or post?! Our MA says he has chased offer letter...

You should receive an email instantly!! I found out before my broker did. If you have received a full offer after valuation, you get a copy via email straight away, your broker gets a copy and a copy is sent to your solicitor. If you haven't received yours, your broker will certainly have theirs.  CHASE IT UP! x

FYI, I applied via a broker. Not sure if it is the same when applying direct, but it should be just as quick! x
