what did you put your flannel cakes in? did you use the muffin cases that people have ordered from ebay or something else?

Yep, got them from ebay. I bought the strawberry ones, Winnie the Pooh and another pack with cute bears on. They are a great price, good quality and don't take long to arrive. Also got my artificial cherries from ebay.

I'm going to use some of the cases to bake real cupcakes too!

Well...no excuse now! I've gathered important bits to have a bash at the sock bouquet. I've time to work on it tho, cuz me sister's b'day is still 8wks away:p

Mary, I'm not sure what size flower-pots you have, but if it's the tiny ones I was thinking of those lovely "air plants" that you see around. Perhaps you could tailor the decoration to suit the recipient....their favourite animal; food; a little garden scene. I'll see if I can find something & get back to you, cuz I'm useless at describing things:rolleyes:

I found this site http://airplantcity.com/LivingArtGallery1.htm with things like this

And this site is amazing! http://www.airplant.com/index.html

Must admit I haven't looked at the prices, but hope this helps explain my ramblings:D

Thanks BMF.............my pots must be the smallest you can get. The red ones came from woolworths in a little pack with poppy seeds and OH started the seeds on in them..........the brownie coloured ones are just a tiny bit bigger but as I found a gardening set last week on my charity shop bargain hunt I think I might put them in with that,

So, its just the red ones I'm stuck with what to do??

Quite like the little air plant idea

Forgot to ask, are you going to give the tea towels as presents or are they for you? If presents are you going to give them as they are or do something with them? Hope this makes sense! They didn't have these in the HB I went in - SA said they have been really popular.

I am going to make a hamper style present - tray, coaster, tea towel, mug and flannel cake. There are 3 tea towels in the pack so 1 for my mum, 1 for MIL and... 1 for me:rotfl:
