Need to pick some brains...............what can I do with six really small red flowerpots ? ..........lol

just by accident, I discovered that my husband is using what was once our children's Brio flowerpot sets in the office. He stores paperclips, staples and little tags in them.

Might be another way for you to use yours. :)

Shame it is an American company and tried to find shipping costs but they are not saying up front what those costs might be so could work out expensive.. the fruit itself is ok priced

I had a look at that website, they seem to have everything. There are a lot of UK websites that sell them, though probably not so much choice. I can't remember any at the minute as it was a while ago when I was looking. I'll have a look tomorrow and see what I can find.

I noticed some very pretty cupcake design storage tins, cups & saucers and teapots in the sale at Pastimes today for well over 50% off and thought it worth mentioning on here incase nobody else has tipped you off yet. (They had lots of other things that would have been great for early Christmas shopping or hamper contents too - worth a look!)

Just wanted to share my first 'gift tray' I've made...

    th_IMGP1846.jpg th_IMGP1850.jpg

This is for my brother's girlfriend for her birthday. The theme is relax and unwind. I used a cupcake tray from Morrisons, cupcake mug from Homebase with a scrunchy inside, a flannel cupcake, a glass candle holder and two Yankee Candle candles (they smell divine, want to keep them for myself really!), 4 sachets hot choc drink (inside candle holder) and a glass jar of homemade lemon bath salts with a mini wooden scoop.

I'm really pleased with it. A BIG 'thank you' to everyone for all the inspiration and tip-offs about where to source cupcake themed items! Extra thanks to mary43 for the web link about making gifts in jars which is where I got the 'recipe' for the lemon bath salts (massive success with this and I will be making this for loads more people this year as it's so easy, not expensive and looks really pretty).

Just hope she likes the present - if not, I'm happy to keep it as I love it!!! :D

rainmac - that's lovely. I am waiting for my cases then i will make my flannel cakes. I bought some bath pearls today to go on the top. I thought about doing 'gifts in a jar' last Christmas but didn't get round to it but think I will this year.
