does anyone know how I can make flannel cakes?

Just wanted to share my first 'gift tray' I've made...
This is for my brother's girlfriend for her birthday. The theme is relax and unwind. I used a cupcake tray from Morrisons, cupcake mug from Homebase with a scrunchy inside, a flannel cupcake, a glass candle holder and two Yankee Candle candles (they smell divine, want to keep them for myself really!), 4 sachets hot choc drink (inside candle holder) and a glass jar of homemade lemon bath salts with a mini wooden scoop.
I'm really pleased with it. A BIG 'thank you' to everyone for all the inspiration and tip-offs about where to source cupcake themed items! Extra thanks to mary43 for the web link about making gifts in jars which is where I got the 'recipe' for the lemon bath salts (massive success with this and I will be making this for loads more people this year as it's so easy, not expensive and looks really pretty).
Just hope she likes the present - if not, I'm happy to keep it as I love it!!!

I was in Primark today they are
selling a hat box with a carry handle
decorated with tea cups and cakes
and inside are four mugs all with
the same tea cup & cake design
the whole lot including the box
was £3.You could pay £3 in a card
shop just for the box on its own
so filled with four mugs made it
really good value.:j:j:j0 -

This is the link for the gifts in a jar site - weblink, the bath salts are on the bath and body crafts link at the top. There are recipes for fizzy salts that I quite fancy having a go at. I bought my plain bath salts on ebay but going to have a look elsewhere as I'm sure I can get them cheaper - maybe the chemist? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Soda cystals are what you can use for cleaning (in washing machine, stick down plugholes), Epsom Salts are different altogether (I think!). I used Epsom Salts for the lemon bath salts and they are quite fine in texture - similar to table salt really. Bought them from ebay but you pay quite a bit in p&p. Think you can buy Epsom Salts from chemists so I was going to have a look later in the week. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Lovely things!!! I got an oven glove in the post today that I bought from ebay, looks like it's from the same range as the products on this site. I love the cute doilies but don't know what I'd do with them! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I was shopping in Asda today and noticed that they have some lovely cupcake pyjamas. They also had some cupcake knickers which were reduced.0
