Yey!!! Thanks for the tip off, fingers crossed they're in my local one too! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
Need to pick some brains...............what can I do with six really small red flowerpots ? They're made out of plastic and I got them for OH to start off some poppy seeds. The seeds have grown like mad and been transferred to bigger pots before they go into the big wide world.
So, I'm left with the little pots..............haven't the heart to throw them away (obviously...........lol) can't put candles in them as they're plastic but there must be some little gift I can concoct..................don't say make sweets cos me and cooking don't get on...............lol
mary43, little pots with a set of seeds in some cellophane would make a lovely little gift for a child. We've just planted some sunflower seeds in little pots - ds1 loves sticking seeds or bulbs in pots and seeing what grows! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
rainmac- they would be a perfect size for children but one grandchild will be a year old in June, the other two are 16 and not into gardening.
Chris25 - the picket fence wall decoration sounds like it would be fun to do so might have a play with that though I'm not very good at that sort of thing.
I did wonder about popping in a piece of artificial fir tree and sticking some silver and gold gems on so its a mini Christmas tree and just pop it into a few of the Christmas hampers............the terracotta coloured ones are just that bit bigger than the red ones and I might keep those to one side for a garden hamper for ex foster girl next year............few packets of seeds etc.Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

if they're red then they'll be perfect for Christmas. One year I was given a small packet of fir tree seeds with a note 'Grow your own Christmas tree!'0 -
Finally the range has started to appear- its only been about two mnths of waiting!0

I am trying to persuade OH to have a drive to Morissons this week:D
I bought a few things today and have decided to do cooking hampers for my mum and MIL so this range would fit in well:rotfl:saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -
Oh, does anyone know the cheapest place for kilner jars, or something similar ? I want to do some 'gifts in a jar' ..........I could use old coffee jars I know but I think the old fashioned preserving style jars would lookbetter if the price is right.
Mary, Dunelm Mill do Kilner jars, prices staring at £1.79

although I am sure I saw them cheaper instore, they were the ones with the clip on lids.

I've seen the new cake range in my Morrisons - no mugs there either! I really want cupcake mugs - has anyone seen any anywhere else?
I bought a tray from Morrisons - it's the small one but is actually quite big, I know that doesn't really make sense! Taken a pic so you can see the pattern, it's very pretty...
Please let me know if you know of anywhere that has cupcake mugs, thank you! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
