Thanks for the hugs, it's been a trying couple of days.

My god that is taking ages for those cases! I can totally empathise with you tho, usually it's me in that position

I got the fruits here, at the moment they have a 50% off sale, so that's why the berries were cheap, the cherries are that price all the time. Trouble is the place is rammed so it's easy to miss things in there, and then other things distract you! I kept seeing things that were really cool, but my house isn't big enough.............and having to tear myself away, and I'm not even a flower type of person, more of a tomboy!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh wow!! that looks like my kind of shop.. Brilliant. I could spend all day in there by the looks of it..

LOL it's actually a tiny little mill, then there's another shop as such opposite, and a marquee where they ship the 70% off stuff into. I discovered it at Christmas and was amazed as the products are really good quality...............I felt I wanted to get rid of all my christmas decorations and buy them all at this place :o

Brilliant ideas ..................weve got a small shop in town here that sells cake decorating bits and pieces...............just going to have to have a look tomorrow. I keep looking at these piccys and determined to have a go:j

I did think last night about doing something with a white flannel or small hand towel, pop a few bits of holly in the creases, a red ribbon around it so it might look like a christmas cake.

once you have them in the case they
should stay in place, but you can use a
straight pin or a piece of sellotape.

    .

Thanks for that. I will look for some practice cases this week. Think i will go for the burnt cake look with the black flannel first ;)

just a thought but if you are anywhere
like this with loads of dried flowers
look to the floor for any little bits
    that have dropped off.Its surprising
what gets swept up in these places.
