I bought a roll of dark green corrugated card from the charity shop (50p) last week...........don't ask why, just thought it would be useful for something......wonder if I could do something with that if I rolled it round something that was round and do something with a flannel just to practice but then how do I put a bottom on it ? Only other thing I've got kicking about are loo roll middles...................lol
Keep racking my brain after reading some of these posts about what I might be able to do..................

this is an idea I had that may be the
    solution you are looking for

just measured mine I think you
need a diameter of around 2.5 to 2.75
in inches to make this work so you have room
for the rolled flannel to fit.

not the best drawing but you
might be able to get an idea
if you measure your height and
width add an extra 1/4 inch to
    the height.

At the bottom if you do little cuts
about 1/4 inch tall and a 1/4 inch
    apart.then fold them inwards

then add a circle of card to the base
attached with glue or double sided tape

    hope it helps you

the pots are from a seller on ebay
they sell different ones even Winnie
the pooh the seller is noonoo0_2
they are in Malaysia but they arrive
    in around a week.

    The ones that look like
sweets are in fact pins again on ebay
but they are in the UK from ebay
    seller supplies1234.

that cherry on the top was a christmas
decoration from primark 99p it was a bunch of
plastic grapes that when you snip the wire
on it falls apart into different sized beads.
Each one has a small hole on the under
side to thread wire or cotton.

Another thing I have spotted on ebay and
I only noticed this because I recognised
the plates used was this cake stand below

    8adb_1.jpg

this is just two plastic plates from Asda with
a hole drilled through the centres and
made into a cake stand. If anyone has a drill
and could get hold of one of the centre stand
(not sure of the exact name for the pole running through
    the middle)
it would be an effective way to display these
    cakes.

Rosekitten...........the winnie the pooh idea sounds lovely for my grandson but I think I'd probably have a go at printing off some winnie the pooh images and doing something myself...............bit of a challenge for me............if it doesnt work then I've lost nothing.
I'm doing retro sweet boxes for the teenage grandchildren for easter and wondered what to do for baby grandson (he'll be year old in June) Not sure whether he'd be able to have chocolate or not but if he can have a small egg I've just had a thought...............I had a small metal bucket bought me at christmas a bottle of bath oil in..........wonder if I could do something with that using a flannel rolled up but leaving a hole in the middle for an egg ? If he can't have chocolate there's a shop in town with the cutest little egg money box............ohhh............now my brains going into overdrive.............won't tell you the look on OH's face................:rotfl:

I never buy tablecloths just when ever I
see a fabric thats around 56 to 60 inches wide
I buy a metre and a half and throw it on the
    table.
