These cupcases say 'bread' on them, I wonder if you could bake small rolls in them, now that would be nice....

the pic you posted of these cases below
I bought a Betty Crocker strawberry
muffin cake mix in Home & Bargain
for 69p a while ago and inside the box
was 6 of these same kind of cases they were
plain white in a thick kind of greaseproof paper
.but it would be a handy
buy for anyone who only wants to
make a small amount.
You could still use up the cake mix
in regular cake cases

I definately want to make some money and since my Christmas cake and logs went down so well, I am going to make Easter cupcakes and try to sell them to collegues.
We also have a neighbourhood festival every year, where for £5 you can have a table for carboot sale type of stuff. I have had a stand there to raise funds for DD's gymnastics club but this year I am going to raise funds for myself with the cupcakes, nappy cakes and towel cakes..
Those cake cases are great! Oh no, might to buy some more flannels...:D I have bought some red flannels as well at Asda to make cherry cakes so if only those wretched cake cases came..
I think the cake cases are really lovely.. Im so pleased with the ones from ebay despite my initial worry about the colour etc.
I hope you dont mind me asking but roughly how much would you charge for a muffin cake???0 -

Good idea Rosekitten.
I do like the patterned cases though as they add more novelty to the cake.0 -
Im sure those cases cant be that hard to make with some thin card. Ive been thinking...
Take a strip of card and give it a wavy edge with scissors or maybe use a craft punch to add some detail.
Cut fringe tabs along the other long edge then form the cup with the card, use double sided tape to hold it together.
Cut a circular base and then glue the fringe tabs to the base.0 -
This has been laser cut but Im sure something similar can be created.0 -
I received my muffin cases yesterday, although they came from Malaysia the seller states UK location (?). Anyway, not really a problem although delivery time was obviously slower.
I have been rummaging around and found some silver coloured long pins which I think I used for jewellery making many moons ago. I will put some glass beads on these and look for some strawberries or cherries on my travels.
I suppose a cake candle holder and candle could be put on them too.0 -

Hi mumoftwo
All great ideas here, I started a thread saying I was thinking of holding a craft showcase at my house, maybe saying "craft showcase" was a bad idea. Anyway I was thinking of inviting family and friends round to have a look at what I have made and have a nice cup of tea.
My family and friends will love the towel crafts.
Anyway someone on the thread basically said I wanted to have my ego massaged and was pressuring people to buy things...
Seriously that couldnt be any further from the truth. People are always asking to see what I have made :j
Anyway I now feel really upset and a bit  as this person doesnt know me at all and is making a judgement.0 -
