Sorry forgot to resize first in Photobucket....:o :o
Ok here is my first Easter cupcake. you just have to imagine the cupcake case, they haven't arrived yet.Asda has its first Easter eggs in so I thought I would buy a tube and have a little play (never mind the houswork) The eggs are pushed slightly into the flannel and seem pretty tight so no double sided tape is needed, so the recipient can actually eat them.

I was in Poundland today and they had packs of 5 faceclothes for a pound. 3 pink and 2 white. They are lovely and square and no pattern, just a hem. Not great quality but great to work with.. Bought two packs but now wished I had bought more.... Come on you lurkers, where are your efforts, with so many flannels missing out of the shops you must be doing something with them.... I wanna see!!!

What an amazing explosion of creativity using household textiles there has been on this thread in the last few days!

I am also getting slightly obsessed - I was lying awake in bed last night thinking up variations on the theme for my Mum who is a gardener. Could I somehow make a bunch of flowers for her using green gardening gloves to look like leaves? What could the rosebuds be made out of?

I like the ideas using towels and dishcloths/teatowels, as not everybody uses flannels. Those bunnies are brilliant!

I was in Poundstretchers store last week I
dont know if they have one near you,but
they have been selling full size Alumnium
buckets with photographic images of grass
and carrots printed on it.They were £4.99
but they are strong buckets I couldent
help but think at the time they would have
been perfect for anyone making a gardeners
hamper as it would be in a practical thing
that could be used in the garden or would
look really good with a large plant in it

Rosekitten, we can so make them!! Especially with those Cello bags I ordered.. We just need those little fruits now. We can print the band around the cake ourselves on the computer with fancy fonts..
Maybe I should buy those 500 plastic strawberries from America!! lol
