Prompted by my mum asking me to check for sim only deals, I realised that my sim only deal had ended last year!! Swapped this morning from £10.14 a month for 9gb data and unlimited everything else, to £8 per month for 15gb and unlimited. Plus 3 months of free Disney plus!1

Spent a fortune tonight but not unplanned. Bed for the spare room and mattress ordered from IKEA and some new sports leggings. Not cheap but I've been exercising at least 3 x per week as per my goal, so decided to treat myself to keep the motivation going!
Hope storm wasn't too damaging for people. We just lost phone signal and internet.1 -
Sounds l like the leggings are a great reward. I don't know about you - but I find I can justify a meal out more easily than clothes or art supplies and yet the latter two have far greater lasting value!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Getting high waisted leggings for yoga is definitely a win in my case too... the other kind weren't reliable shall we say at staying in the right place!!

Long time no post!
Work as crazy as ever. One more week until half term and miraculously still no covid here.
Mortgage update-
Mortgage at start of year - £289,999
Current total - £282, 857.39
Total reduction - £7,141.61

So ticking over nicely, with an overpayment each month of £500. So not too shabby.
Looking forward to breaking into the 270s!2 -
Council tax bill is in. Almost £380 a month eek!1
