I bought a chrome book for £200 instead - they are more if you want touch screen but I use it in the evenings and really light and long-lasting battery. Very impressed. Then I stripped out all the notifications and most of the apps on my old i-Pad mini and I still use it (but have to recharge it more than once a day)Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

Just got in from a good walk only took the dog to the bottom of the street she is struggling because the snow is so deep and she has the type of fur that the snow sticks to she had little icy snowballs on her paws and started to limp it’s not fair on her so I took her back and set off myself got a good 14000 steps in I think it helped that I went at a faster pace it helps not having to stop at every lamppost 😂 beautiful sunshine but hard going had a sweat on when I got back hope tomorrow I can get her a bit further if the roads are clear no more snow forcast salad sandwich for lunch it’s ages since I’ve had any bread but still doing well on my diet decided I am going to get a new I pad will have a look for the best price see how this one goes savings might have to be dipped into and paid back we will see have a good day everyone whatever you are doing1

It’s been a nice bright day but snow hasn’t moved at all freezing cold now I have walked every day and am really enjoying it I have a couple of pairs of walking boots but I will be back to work soon 🤞and I will try to fit a walk in either before or after work but would like a pair of trainers that’s comfortable enough to do a decent walk in after been on feet all day just thinking of the warmer weather has anyone any recommendations2

All my trainers are Skechers. I usually get mine from TK Maxx in normal times for around £25-35. Prior to COVID I was doing over 20k steps a day in them with no problems.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

SA I have got a pair of Skechers walking boots and a pair of trainers and I can’t wear them if the ground is wet they are so slippery paid a fair bit for the boots lovely and comfortable and warm but for dry weather only they are lethal2

Beanielou I am not really bothered what they cost obviously not stupid money but I don’t mind paying for good trainers or shoes I’ve worked in shops standing for hours and I’ve bought the cheapest shoes before and it’s a waste of money I would rather save and pay for a decent pair I think it’s false economy when it’s your feet2

I walk in the rain in my Skechers and they’re fine. I always make sure they have good tread at the bottom before I buy them though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

I wear all rounder by Mephisto.
Expensive but worth it for me.
I wore Sketchers for years until the physio told me they were not suitable for my feet.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
