Your table sounds fantastic Fiwen, great work partner! Good luck with your kitchen make over, I'm sure it'll make a huge difference 😀Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Mend - some door locks. We are no longer in danger of being locked in rooms.
Make do - eating from freezer. Made some bread pudding and had forgotten how much I enjoyed it.
Minimise - lots has left the house including old accounts. A bedroom wardrobe looks much better with only stuff that should be in there being in there.

Made do with the last of the home made broth for lunch.
No mending today so far.
Minimized some yarn last night by crocheting a little house. I saw some lovely ones on bunny mummy's blog and had a go. I'm very pleased with how it's turned out.

Make-do: I'm using some Freegle'd sheets to practise some dyeing techniques, rather than buying new fabric.
Mend: my Christmas jumper, which now has a fetching length of old tinsel stitched over the tea-stain on the front!
Minimise: Said Christmas jumper has been minimised away into the bottom of my jumper drawer until next December. And we've minimised a lot of DD2's old "schoolwork" (actually home-ed worksheets & projects) through the shredder & up the chimney. (She's 25 now! And studying law...)

Mended my slippers. They are coolers which are lovely and comfy and I bought them for OH about 4 years ago. The sole was coming off so he bought himself new ones and put the old ones by the bin so I grabbed them. A lace around the top makes them fit me and a bit of hot glue stuck the sole back on.
Also darned over a large stain on a white knit top with thick white cotton.
Bleached the collar of a Charity shop bought rugby shirt with a horrible stain , it came right out YAY so nice new to me shirt for wearing with jeans.
Make do, was yesterday when I forgot to put a loaf on and we used the bag of frozen bread ends for lunch, toasted with various toppings.
Its me Culpepper LOL couldn't sign in with the old ID so time for a fresh start....13 -
Just a suggestion... You can sometimes get stains out of clothes by soaking overnight in a solution of warmish water and soda crystals, then washing as normal. It doesn't usually bleach the fabric and it works most of the time.2025 Fashion on the ration

Good Morning Lovelies,Make do: I have made another duvet cover from a sheet brought back from India. Only one left to make...........Makes me sad to think we might never have the chance to go back ☹️
Mend: DH has worked out why the solar lantern wasn't working.......It helps if I switch it on 🤣
Minimise: I noticed there is still a clothes bank on our journey to dropping DD at work, so I have minimised the charity bag. 🙂
