Do we know this one would? No. The DPF may well have been modified invisibly.0 -

before the new regs i removed a lot of dpf that had become blocked and not one failed the emission test results maybe a bit higher but passed.it is difficult for a tester to assertain if the dpf has been removed just because you can a welded portion a lot these where done to power wash the dpf

Some owners keep a DPF fitted exhaust and replace just for MOT.
Only way to actually confirm is to look for cut out / rewelded patch on exhaust.
Usually to the top.

I am amazed that we have come this far without knowing the type, age, mileage, and price of the vehicle. All we know is it is a diesel Ford, non-main-dealer, but sufficiently expensive to warrant finance.
That disclaimer seems to be far to broad in what it tries to cover to offer the garage any protection against come-back at all. Particularly the first part of what we see, effectively saying the car is "sold as seen", which really means nothing when purchased from a dealer. The purchaser is not deemed to have the knowledge to know that the vehicle is free from defects.Mikej92 said:

Thanks for the advice guys, tried my best with the dealer, with no outcome, so I think I’m going to have to go to my finance company.
it’s a 2015 focus diesel, 67k miles.
price was 112500 -
And if it is illegal to use on the highway, it's illegal to sell it
