I don't like hummus, not a chick pea fan!
Yes just found a tuna recipe , i like fish but not a fishy person , think it's because fish does not fill me up, but pate is not for a main meal.

Happy New Year everyone!
Thanks for the new thread maman.
I am still around Bubbs, just been keeping a low profile as I've been off plan more than on, and like so many, with Christmas treats in the house it's not a good time to even try to start. OH and I have decided that from Monday when we are both back at work, and all the treats will have been dispensed with, we are back on the straight and narrow. Quite a bit of damage limitation to be done, but I know how to do it, and I know it works. I did a mahoosive shop the week before Christmas stocking up the freezer (and utilising a Topcashback voucher of £132!), so we are all set to go. I'm going to set out some mealplans for the next few weeks, so I have an idea of what we are going to be eating each day/night. I'm not an enthusiastic cook nowadays, so it has to be easy-ish to do, otherwise it can scupper my ability to stay focused.
In other news, I am going to be a grandma in July, but it's my other son and his GF, not my eldest and his wife who unfortunately lost their baby in Oct., so a bitter-sweet happy news in the family, and a secret I've been having to keep for about 6 weeks now as they didn't want anyone else to know until after scans, and to allow time to pass for the older brother and sister-in-law. Fingers crossed they will have a positive result in 2021 too.
Glad to be back! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home2 -

Have you checked out Slimming Eats, Pinch of Nom, Two Chubby Cubs, SW website etc for ideas? I use quite a few of the Slimming Eats recipes. Don't know what else to suggest really if you don't know what you want! Shame about not likely chickpeas. I absolutely love falafels!
Welcome back Sary. It's a difficult time of year but you have a plan so you've a good chance of sticking at it now. Good news and sad news for the family. Hopefully 2021 is going to be a good one for your family.

I don't get the adverts! I use a ad blocker, makes a great difference.
Going shopping now as need to go to Mr Ts to get the stuff I can't get in Lidl!

Forgo to say, got a machine load of washing done this morning but as it was spitting with rain have just put on the airer to dry.
Been shopping and spent more than intended! It's always the same with DH shopping with me. Went to butchers to get some low fat sausages but he hadn't made them yet so have to go back next week for those but DH spotted some meaty oxtail in the window so bought some of that plus just 4 normal sausages for breakfast tomorrow! So when I got to Mr Ts I had to buy stew veg to go with the oxtail. Will get that into the SC this afternoon and then frozen tomorrow - may well cook it overnight.
Currently cooking loads of cannelloni beans which have now just finished! bagged up some to go in freezer and using some to go in our lunch.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausage patties, egg, mushrooms, beans - P; S; F; 5 (what a waste!)
L - HM minestrone soup
D - fish pie with celeriac and butterbean mash; veg - P; S; F; 1 (recipe from the new magazine)
S - probably cheese & crackers - HEA2; HEB
Syns - 2 sausage patties 5; cornflour 1; 2 rum & ginger beer 5
Think that should even out the syns so far (hopefully!) but will check later.
Have a good day.

Happy new year all! Didn’t do too badly over Christmas, actually only had 2 Ferraro Rochers as syns on the day itself! Felt more than a little smug☺️ Got rid of anything opened on NYE, so started with clean sheet & brand new diary yesterday. Did the Royal Parks walk on Wednesday, was a beautiful day for a walk, so did not notice that we had done 9 miles. One thing I have noticed about not being able to go home is the ability to do things for pleasure at leisure, whereas I am usually going about like a blue assed fly just to do the routine things, and I really enjoyed that.
Currently got a stew in the slow cooker and going to make some kofta for dinner, so starting to get ahead of myself as I can freeze the stew, not sure yet what to eat with the kofta, probably salad, grilled tomatoes, maybe a little rice, although I could have an SP day easily.
Going nuts about needing to check a syn value, thought I would consult the oracle, Denise, but for the life of me, can’t remember what it was!,A smile costs little but creates much2 -
😂😂😂
Good to see you back GTQ. Well done on only having a couple of Ferraro Rochers on Christmas Day, although having said that I stuck to syns that day but finished on 15 - my worst day was Christmas Eve, which was my WI day! Probably a week's syns that day, LOL!
I've just got an oxtail stew in the slow cooker but it won't be ready until 9.30 tonight, will then portion up and freeze tomorrow - hoping to get 6 portions from it (3 meals for the 2 of us) but we'll see.

Afternoon all and Happy New year
I had a good new years eve slimming world wise. I made a slimming world friendly buffet with chicken kebabs, salad homemade pizza and the like. Unfortunately I countered that by discovering I like gin 😂. I got a gin gift set for Christmas and I thought I'd give it a go.
I was rough as toast yesterday and remembered why I don't drink often 🙄.
Anyway back on plan now so hopefully I'll be able to get closer to my target weight this year at least
Breakfast was just yogurt and fruit. Lunch was a chicken, laughing cow and salad wrap and dinner is going to be a chicken breast with carrot and swede mash, Cabbage and broccoli.:AWhatever it is - I didn't do it!:A1 -
Another gin lover here! Also rum, brandy, calvados & wine!!! Only thing I don't like is beer of any description, still at least it's the lower syn stuff I like!
