I've not managed anything properly stash busting- I've taken out some name labels, sewn in a few more, unstitched a zip from a raggy pair of jeans (it's still a good zip!), unstitched my husbands name from his school gym bag for reuse (his parents found all the boxes of school stuff for them to sort out!). So not necessarily stash busting, but still busy.
Sadly no moving date for us 😭 problems up the chain. I regret packing all of my fabric away now! I have reviewed all my Christmas cards and have plenty, but will probably make some more when I feel like it. I prefer that than the pressure of needing to make them.Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

I am now working on the cable jumper I hadn't touched since before lockdown - not sure I like the yarn now, but I'll trog on to get it finished.

Everyone has been so busy! Love that red dress @Wraithlady
Fingers crossed for some good news soon for you @emsi_b
It took us over 6months but we have finally moved!!! 🎉 The house is a little worse for wear then we originally thought-we knew we wanted to extend/had to do some renovations and repairs but it seems everywhere we look a new job appears (and under every bush is a new pile of rubbish-I'll never understand people who do that 🙄) but we will get there. Crafting time is just going to have to be DIY/Garden work time for a while...!!3 -
Cupcake, we're at 5 months now. The people we're buying from have now had an offer accepted on somewhere else- best case we're looking at beginning of December, but probably sometime in the new year. I'm trying to let it all wash over me, but so hard at the moment!
I did make 4 cards last night- so up to 56/75Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

emsi-b, they'd be carrying me off in a wee white van if I'd had to wait that long; I've no patience! Fingers crossed for you to get a definite date soon.
Well, that's another 18 skull masks finished in time for Hallowe'en.
Also 2 sympathy cards
I'm still knitting my socks.
I haven't made any Christmas cards or birthday cards - or anything else; coming up next, I hope!

Im going to start a crochet throw for my conservatory tonight. I have some lovely silver grey and a muted mauve wool in the cupboard (after my clear out when I sold all the rest of the wool). Every evening I find myself on my phone looking at Google news or other cr 4 p and eating chocolate. It has to stop, although stopping choccy is a bit much to ask.
My hook and wool is on the sofa ready to start this evening

Ooh @emsi_b I really feel for you. We were selling a business/home so it was a real balancing act and had both sides threatening constantly to pull out if they didn't get their way. Basically lived on heart burn tablets for the last couple of months. I hope it goes smoothly for you even though it could be a bit longer.
yes @p00 I agree-will have to get back into something to stop the dreaded scroll
sorry @greentiger to hear your sad news2 -
It's been such a drag on the housing front the last few weeks
things are slowly, slowly moving. I've gotten fed up with it all and passed all chasing to my husband who has a milder telephone manner than I do!
It does mean I have been smashing the card making- I've made 25 fancy tags and 23 cards this week 😀 all pretty much exactly the same as they're from a kit, but still on a mission! Lots of stamping too to use up the odds and ends left at the end of the kit. Still a few more to go tag and card wise too before the kit is done. I'm going to count them all because a) why not and b) they did all require stamping on them.
Total is now... 104/75Make £2025 in 2025- £751.88/£2025

Thanks, cupcakecraftscuddlycanine (I think I'm going to have to call you cccc, or my fingers may drop off, lol) for your kind thoughts.
emsi_b, well done on delegating chasing responsibilities. And well done on smashing those cards & tags (they DO all count).
I've finished another 17 masks (no impression on my stash, boo hoo), and another 4 stadium seat covers, so that means all 6 of us will have dry derrieres. I know I had to buy fabric to make these, but I did use up some of my thread stash. And I made a wee pouch to contain them all, from the leftover ripstop nylon. I was just thinking tonight that there may be enough of that left to make a tote that would hold them AND a lap quilt (that I have yet to make). Hmmm, that idea may have to wait.
Next up is a coat for my son's wee Parson Russell terrier. I'll use the waterproof tartan fabric left after making that big scrappy picnic mat earlier this year. I have bought some paw print polar fleece to give it a nice soft lining.
I'll have to start on Christmas masks soon too; lots of oddments of Christmas fabric is lurking under my bed.
I made 12 Christmas cards yesterday. I'll start on my granddaughter's birthday card this week (for next week).
