Glad the jab went well Mrs P.5

Thanks Phoebe. I'm glad your jab was fine too Mrs P.
I didn't see anything I wanted on the George website yesterday.
I decided that I am going to go out next month to an outdoor restaurant in London. I'm not staying in until my second jab as that would be the end of May. I will book where to go nearer to the time. Well, that is the plan unless things get much worse before then. I want a new outfit to wear as this will be the first time I've been into central London since last March.
I just had a chickpea salad sandwich for lunch. I bought this paprika and onion seasoning and I keep putting it in lots of savoury dishes. It's really nice.
I'm about to sit down and read the free Ocado magazine I got and have a glass of wine.

That seasoning sounds lovely Wednesday. Can I ask where you bought it from as it's not something I've ever seen? Knowing my luck it will be somewhere like Waitflower because we haven't got one of those within about 50 miles of where I live!

Joe D - It's the Schwartz one. It is supposed to be put on chips or wedges but I've been putting it on everything.2025 GOALS

Hello,my lovely friends...,,,
lots of lovely little champagne moments here.Yesterday the phone never stopped ringing. Had several nice long natters with friends. Then to cap it all one of my suitors rang. (John 1). I'm still not interested in him romantically. He's a nice man but not for me so I keep him firmly in the friend zone. Still I'm vain enough to be pleased at receiving some male attention. 😂🤣.
I have also managed to book a hair appt for 16th April. Wahoo. That's the day before I go on my little holiday so nice timing. I was beginning to think I was going to have to attack it with the scissors myself.Right off for my walk and then do my tai chi, cook dinner and then that's another day gone. Another one to tick off on the countdown to post covid to freedom.Wednesday - a trip to London sounds fab. I'm sure you will be safe enough to eat outdoors now that you have had your fist jab.8 -
Thanks for that Wednesday. I look out for it next time I go shopping.

That seasoning sounds delish, Wednesday....will have to get some of that 😋
Lovely to catch up with friends, LL, even if it's just on the phone! Great that you've managed to secure a hair appointment just ahead (lol!) of your holiday 😊
As predicted Highways were here early this morning, topping up the *sinkhole* with more tarmac. The area is growing and I can't help but think they're merely applying a plaster to something that requires a more invasive approach. Guess they know what they're doing 🙄
Champagne moments here - feeling blessed to have an outdoor space brimming with wildlife and nature, although we're definitely paying the price of a few frosty mornings, not to mention the sheer quantity of rain that fell over winter. We've lost a massive rosemary bush planted in 2018 as well as several other supposedly hardy plants.
However, it's brilliant to see those that have survived bursting into life, including many shrubs and perennials. Just think I need to be more savvy when selecting stuff going forward and remember that we no longer live in the south east of England!
I managed to get another rose bed planted up with alliums, then after lunch cracked on with some more mist coating of the newly erected and skimmed stud walls in the upper hallway. There's loads more to do including additional plastering (DH) and painting (me) over the coming weekend. Don't think we'll be in a position to hang wallpaper or lay flooring up there for a while yet....which is good as the flooring isn't ordered yet!
Going to have an easy meal tonight (pasta) and watch some A Discovery of Witches. Maybe some wine and posh chocs will be involved 😉
Rainbow tulips and my Christmas amaryllis (on its second flowering!) in the kitchen today.......

Maybe you should meet him for a date just for fun and to have a night out?

Positive thought for today:
We all make mistakes, learn from them and you can make your life a happier one (Katie Piper)6 -
LL it is always good to have a long phone call with friends and/or family. It is good that John 1 is still maintaining the friendship with you, you cannot have too many friends
Phoebe lovely flowers again5
