My Champagne moments yesterday was taking receipt of the delivery of my Mother's Day presents that I bought with the money my 3 children had given me, the older daughter having given me gifts.   

I found the QVC silver 20 inch chain that I really wanted on eBay, the 2 anti slip serving trays and the Salter set of 3 non stick pans with lids that I had coveted for a long time  I finally found the Salter pan set on eBay from a business seller for only £38.79 including delivery compared to the £99.99 that it sells for on the Salter UK website.

It felt really nice to get my feet tidied up at the chiropodist. I could really tell the difference afterwards so I will get that done regularly from now on. 

I wore my sandals out today as it was so sunny but I think it is too chilly at the moment as my feet felt cold on the walk home.

My Champagne moment today: Lambeth Council has come up trumps again. Not only are they not increasing Council Tax for the April 2021 to April 2022 year, but they are giving me another Council Tax Discretionary Hardship payment for that year.   I am so relieved, as this is usually quite a large monthly payment for 10 months of the year and I will be paying less than 50% of the amount I had to pay last year.   

Lambeth Council has really tried to Financially support it's residents who are on low incomes, throughout this Pandemic  and I just so grateful and appreciative of receiving financial support with my Council Tax.

Champagne moment today - my Apolima egg chair from Been & Queued was delivered this morning ❤️ The box it came in was massive, so I'm extremely grateful that DH took time off to oversee its arrival 😊

It's a typical March day here - dull, windy and not very warm - but I'm determined to spend some time cocooned in my new nest with a few additional cushions and a knitted throw, reading/watching the birds....

I feel blessed that I was able to secure it, what with all the talk in the media of garden furniture shortages. Plant nurseries and garden centres reopened here yesterday and DH's client reported that the shelves in our nearest place were being stripped of anything remotely connected with the enjoyment of the outdoors 🙄

Now I just need to find some lights and an outdoor rug to cover the rough ground exposed when I removed the paving!

My champagne moment was feeling better this morning as I felt like I was coming down with something yesterday. It's a bright day here and I'm about to go out for a walk.

Good Morning my lovely friends,  

How are we all, hope you are all ok and managing to find a few champagne moments.  Life is pretty quiet here, it's all a bit Groundhog Day but that's ok.  My champagne moments are more like little quiet moments enjoying life's simple pleasures, pottering about, enjoying the better weather.  

Currently sat in bed, sipping my coffee, deciding what to do first.  😂.
