My Champagne moments yesterday were celebrating Mother's day with my younger son and daughter
I made an effort and actually layered my perfume with the matching products and I wore a solid gold pair of earrings and a chain with a diamond cross. I got money from my elder son, so I bought myself a bunch of flowers from him and will buy myself other items with the rest of the money. I also got gifts of money from my younger son and daughter. My older daughter bought me some M & S chocolates, Percy pig sweets and a £25 M & S gift card. I had so much enjoyment yesterday and it was such a relaxing day.

Hello my lovely friends. How are we all. I think I'm battling the Covid Blues🤣.I can't remember ever, in my entire life, feeling so fed up and so consistently "low", not even when my husband was sick and our situation was hopeless. It's not true depression.....I've just completely lost my mojo. Hope I find it soon. 🤣On a more positive note, I have been able to spend a bit of time time with my family. I even managed to see my youngest son and his partner. I hadn't seen them since Christmas Day so it was very much a champagne moment.Other than that not much news. The high spot of the week is a trip to the supermarket. Not exactly a rock and roll lifestyle.......but hey we're all in the same boat. This Morning I went crazy, I went to Sainsburys instead of Aldi.Oh the excitement. 😂🤣10

I'm so pleased, I had my first jab this afternoon
Whoever thought we could get so excited about getting a vaccine? I dressed up for the occasion with a green sleeveless dress, my mint cardi and my pearls! I was organised for once and put a sausage casserole in the slow cooker, so had something to eat when I got back.

It's quite an occasion getting your jab isn't it? I just wish the weather had been nice when I had mine but it was when we had the snow and we had to queue outside - my feet were frozen by the time I got inside!

Mrs Porridge - I got a bit dressed up for my first Covid jab today too.
I wore my cobalt blue blouse that I haven't worn since the summer with a dress, tights and boots.
I was relieved to finally have the first vaccine as I thought I would be waiting far longer for it, I saw a lovely rainbow today as well.7 -
Hello my lovely friends
Had to laugh at the getting dressed up for the jab. I did the same.😂.Theres a trailer for one of those make over type tv programmes for this Thursday coming. I think it's called 10 years Younger, Channel 4. Anyway the trailer shows people living in trackie bottoms, like so many of us during lockdown. I know for one I'm sick of my current "at home wardrobe". It makes me feel dowdy. Problem is I've put weight back on during the pandemic and now I can't get into my more tailored clothes. My own stupid fault.
. Anyway I'm back on the healthy eating and exercise, I really need to lose a few lbs and tone up ASAP. I'm pretty sure one of the reasons I feel so tired half the time is because I'm lugging extra weight around, around 1.5 stones - not a huge amount when you are tall like me but the equivalent of 4 x 5lb bags of potatoes. No,wonder my muscles ache......I'm not helping myself.
To help motivate myself I bought a few bits from Sainsburys yesterday, a couple of sweaters and fleeces. Nothing special but a lot smarter than my current at home leisure wear - buying new clothes was a bit of a mini champagne moment. Ok the items I bought were nothing to write home about but at least they are new and not stained with bleach or paint, 😂.I am aiming to have the biggest wardrobe clear out once we are in spring proper and the weather warms up. BTW I don't know where I read it but apparently we are in for the hottest summer ever.
My other Champagne moment .......Last night I started rewatching Line of Duty to refresh my memory ready for the new series next week. That's my tv viewing sorted for this week. 😉.8
