Hi all, love the progress on the junction Nmm. The card did also make me laugh. Good one for my middle sis in December.I really like the gifted kit from Bulgaria. How lovely.I was reviewing my list earlier. I’m not surprised Nmm! I planned a project each month and I’ve completed three and the fourth is ongoing as it was cards. I’ve stitched 5 cards so far, a MD card and four BD cards. I stitched the wedding sampler, and 2 bookmarks and working on PLD. Had to do some frogging on PLD. DH out so I watched semi final and final of sewing bee.‘One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things’ said Mole.Cross stitch cafe TaDa Enjoy the Little Things, WIP Love cats, ‘A Year in the Life of’ HSC July-December and The Seasons graphic sampler. That's quite a lot completed, well done
I would love to finish The Junction this year, apart from cards that is my main goal.

Hi everyone,
I arrived home from Cyprus on Thursday evening. We had a nice time with DDad and Stepmum and her sister, but seeing DDad for the first time in 20 months made me realise how fragile he has become. He's able to get around, but is less steady on his feet and gets breathless. He never complains though and is still smiley. His heart surgery is planned for Wednesday this week. It was incredibly hard to say goodbye at the airport and I've been so tired since coming home - just emotionally draining.
DSis and I spoke about resuming the JoGLE walk once we know DDad is out of the woods - he will be in ICU for 5 days post-op. We don't want to be off grid if anything happens.
Absolutely zero happening in terms of crafting for me. I have no inclination to pick anything up and my thumbs and forefingers are really achy for some reason. I think the OA assessment I had before JoGLE is rearing up, so need to think about something natural to stem the symptoms. Turmeric was mentioned by the GP but think I'd need to take vast quantities. Will do some research.
Sorry for the gloomy post
Charly - love the PL updates - such gorgeous colours.
nmm - The Junction is coming on a treat and I love the cards - you've been so busy! Hope you get news for OH soon, the waiting is just awful.
Welcome CB2217
Off to see DS1 today. Have a good day whatever you're up to.

The vet who set it up did a lot of research into using turmeric and the how to get the best results in animals but the same applies to humans. The forum deals with both animals and humans.
There are very knowledgeable individuals on the group who can answer questions about use and interaction with other drugs.
You can make your own 'golden paste' very easily and cheaply. the recipe is given on the forum.
I use it daily for my dog who has arthritis in her leg after a ligament rupture. It will keep in the fridge for a limited time but you can freeze it in small containers depending on how much you use.
