Afternoon All,
Well done for the losses and STSs and commiserations for gains.
I'm still following the ostrich method as well. Well, I would be if I could bend far enough to put my head in the sand but it's more a case of close my eyes, stick my fingers in my ears and shout "La, la, la. I can't hear you". I've managed to completely mess my back up (don't deep clean your kitchen, it's bad for your health) so have spent the past week feeling sorry for myself, unable to walk far let alone run and eating all of the wrong things. It's getting better but slowly and is still quite painful so I'm ever hopeful that another trip to the chiropractor on Tuesday will work some magic. I don't deal well with pain or incapacity so I'm an absolute joy to be around at the moment
Best wishes to those of you dealing with vaccination aches. You may know that it's better than the alternative but that doesn't make dealing with the side effects any less horrible.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx7 -
Hi everyone, joining the ostrich club! Keep saying next week stuff will stop happening and I’ll get back on it. Sadly not. Hope everything will be ok but I am waiting for referral to the breast clinic as I found a lump under my arm on Wednesday night so straight to Drs yesterday. It’s a two week thing just in case anything sinister. I had a letter today to say if I haven’t heard anything by Monday to call the hospital. Crossing everything that it’s nothing but important to get it looked at as we have family history. Soo I am now noshing everything in sight!. Hope to get a run in tomorrow though...It will be the first this week. No idea where the week has gone. Well done everyone.

Izzie, I suppose being challenged by Brambling I'd best try to put your mind at rest regarding deep cleaning. It is indeed bad for your health. Just consider dust inhalation, noxious chemicals, exhaustion, danger to life and limb.......for starters. In fact , for self-preservation, you can't do better than to get back on that sofa QUICK. In future, if you practise the art of moving around your house with your eyes half closed you will never see the need to clean again. I have done the tiresome and dangerous experimentation and found this to be true. Don't thank me. Just send the cheque.
roblou, fingers crossed that all will be well.
Frith, get thee to the docs pronto. Tut tut.
I have given up going to have lumps examined. As my doctor said cheerfully, " Just face it. You've got lumpy breasts." Of all my weird claims to fame that has to be right up there with the weirdest.
Now what did I come here for?
Oh yes. Weight. Well, I seem to found the ultimate maintenance diet. STS. Is that the third or fourth week in a row?
I'm not going to alter the way I am eating because I'm enjoying it. Too much, it seems. So this week I am going to force myself out for a short walk everyday. Anyone who knows me will be rolling around with their hankies stuffed in their mouths, but Im serious. I mean, a 10 minute walk every day should be possible, shouldn't it?

Good morning everyone
I am here to record a 3lb gain this week. All my scoffing rubbish has caught up with me at last so I have sat down and planned my meals for today. I have just been so stressed out with family worries and of course I have been eating my worries. It doesn't help or change them so I need to pack it in now. I am not going to beat myself up (too much) as this has been a coping mechanism for over 40 years and it takes time to retrain my brain. I will be thankful that I have lost over 6 and a half stone from being at my biggest so that is brilliant.
My meals today are likely to be:
b - toast, avocado and poached eggs
l - tuna and cous cous salad
d - campfire stew and a baked potato
s - fruit

0.5lb off for me.
@dumpling I know how you feel. I eat cos I’m stressed or bored then feel guilty so eat because I feel guilty. It’s a really tiring cycle. Good luck xx6 -
-5 for me. Bye bye, water retention.
11 stones 11 now.
Brunch - yoghurt and blueberries
