thanks, to keep me going and shift the pounds I've entered a few virtual running challenges and have a place in the virtual london marathon.
I still find stepping out the front door the hardest step.
@monnagran
for health and safety reasons. I fake tan before running in shorts. For fear the glare off my pasty white skin causes car crashes and blindness.
Welcome, my joints will never do a Marathon, but I am thinking about stretching it to 10 miles from the current 6-7m. In my own time. I proudly lycra, more clothing companies are now making sports clothes for bigger people which is great. For a long time I would not wear shorts, and then I eventually upgraded to lose shorts and an oversize tshirt, so @monnagran I think its what ever it takes. I just want to feel 'smart' and confident when I do run, what ever size is not other peoples business. And I think a lot of people have rather pale thighs this kind of the year, there is only one way - to air them proudly :-).
I am super excited as just bought new running shoes, and hopefully they will get here in a day or two woo hoo it's been about 5 years :-)Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hi
Well done losers, sts-ers, commiserations gainers.Weigh day for me - 2.5 lb please Brambling.I agree it’s not the best time to be counting calories Izadora. It’s not sustainable long term even when I’m not busy and stressy. I’m going to do random spot checks and weigh and count odd days just to make sure I’m getting all my macro and micro nutrients and sticking to sensible portions. Self care is a priority now despite the business and I’ve found coping strategies for the stress which seem to be working.Take care allOld Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin8 -
Hello all, sorry, I forgot to post this morning. I'm a STS this week. I'm happy with that after what was a big loss for me last week.10
-
Thanks for the recipe idea Tryingtoavoiddebt I absolutely love ginger and have just found a salmon and ginger fishcake recipe on GF, with sweet potato fries (whoops). I've just been struggling to think of what to eat lately so we are reverting to the freezer quite a bit ('with chips' or without, depending on how I feel). I know there are lots of simple healthy things to make but its hard finding the inspiration at the moment. The scales are a bit more positive today, but I'm not going to weigh in until Monday just to make sure as I'm getting dizzy yoyoing around the 10-12lbs mark.
Ditty well done with your running. I have been a bit better at going out regularly at the moment but I also planned to do some pilates and walking which have very much slipped by the wayside. No idea why, there's nothing else we can go out and do at the moment.
Thank you for the updating and kind comments Brambling and Izadora, it really does help. I started out at 14 stone and was so pleased to get under 13 stone. Hence the hovering around 12st 10lb - 12st 12lb, I'm really determined not to go back over 12 again. Next target is to get under 80kg which will mean I am about half way to my final target of 11 stone. 11's here we come - definitely this time"Think of many things, do one"
